"Did you find it?"

"God it's so beautiful. What about yours?"

"I don't know. I thought it was nice but now I'm reflecting on it. It seemed to much."

"How bad could it have been?"

"I felt like I was shopping for a quinceañera dress. You know?"

"Did you want something big? Like mine."

"What kind did you get?" Taylor asked looking over her shoulder.

"Wouldn't you like to know." Taylor laughed while folding the clothes. Eve was playing with Camilla on the bed.

"Cmon. Give me a hint." Camilla sighed.

"Fine. It's white." Taylor rolled her eyes and laughed causing Eve to giggle.

"Are you and your family okay?" Taylor suddenly asked. Cam stopped. She looked at Eve. She felt herself disassociating. "Babe?"

"Yeah. We're fine," she said finally. "I need to talk to Bruce. Can you watch Eve for a bit."

"Yeah. Sure." Taylor grabbed her from her. Cam walked out and went down into the Batcave. Bruce was there on his fourth drink.

"What is it?"

"You were right."

"About?"

"She's pregnant." Cam's mouth dropped open.

"When did you find out?!"

"I walked into our bedroom and she decided to tell me."

"Why?"

"She hated keeping it a secret." Cam's face turned into a smile.

"Bruce I'm so happy." She saw the state he was in. She examined him and saw he wasn't the happiest person. "But why aren't you?"

"I don't know. I feel scared. After everything that's happened with you I'm scared to have another girl raised in this family."

"You've learned. That's the whole point of parenting. You have to learn from your mistakes. At least you are having a baby with a woman you love and it won't be like you and my mom. Bruce, you get another chance." He looked up at her and saw hope in her eyes.

"You will do better with this child than with me. I know it. Maybe Eve and your child will be best of friends." Bruce smiled and hugged his daughter.

"Thank you so much."

"It'll be good." When they let go she sighed. "We do need to talk about something else."

"What?"

"When are you going to pop the question to Ms. Kyle?"

"Honestly I was going to be cliche and do it when we reveal the gender."

"That would be amazing. I call dibs on planning." Cam smiled and laughed.

"I also want to talk about you and the whole Joker thing."

"Look if you give me one good reason to not kill him, I won't."

"You can't."

"That's not good enough."

"Give me time."

"Next time we're face to face and I have a gun to his head you better give me a good reason." Cam got up from the chair and walked out. She opened the door and walked out of the house and texted Taylor she was going to the market. In which Taylor responded with a list of groceries she needs. Cam rolled her eyes and smiled while walking out the door.

When she arrived she grabbed a cart and went up and down the aisles searching for everything her beautiful fiance needs. She couldn't stop saying that. Her fiance. It felt proper. It felt right. She was going to check out when.

"Hey," a familiar voice rang through her ears. She turned around and saw Derek.

"Fuck."

"Nice to see you too."

"It's not nice to see you. What the hell are you doing here?"

"What? Can't shop for the family?"

"Don't you have a butler for that?"

"Don't you do too?"

"Touche. So how does Gotham's biggest dumbass wind up in a supermarket?" He smirked and laughed lowly.

"Well I was hoping one day I would find you again. I wanted to apologize."

"You? Apologize? Why?"

"I felt awful. This may sound like I don't mean it but I do. I never meant to hurt you. God I think about that night and wonder why did I do it? I am sorry. I mean that from the bottom of my heart. You can spit and my face and tell me to go to hell and want to never see my again and I totally get that. I just couldn't continue on knowing I never apologized for my actions." Cam stood there speechless.

"God, Derek. I dont know what to say."

"You don't have to say anything. Just know that I'm sorry." He half smiled and went through self-checkout. Cam stood there stunned. She looked at him as he checked out and left. Derek looked back once to wave to her.

"What the fuck?"

When she got home she set her groceries down and went to her room.

"You know who I saw at the market?"

"Who?"

"Derek." Taylor looked up with confusion.

"Did he say anything to you?"

"Yeah. He apologized."

"Guess that son of a bitch does have some feelings if he can do that. Are you sure it wasn't a joke?"

"I mean it couldn't have been. He didn't smile or nothing. He looked 100% serious."

"Well fuck me then." Cam raised her eyebrows. "Not literally."

"You said it."
