Dry Ice (A Jack Frost fanfic)

Chapter 10

"What is taking Tooth so long?" North asked.

"Yeah, it can't take that long to get to Jamie's, can it?" Bunny asked.

Sandy made a contemplating face.

Suddenly, the air went cold. Almost as cold as death.

The three turned around, and saw Pitch standing on the globe.And next to him, was Jack Frost!

"Why hello guardians," Pitch smiled his wicked smile.

"Pitch!" North shouted. "Let Jack go!"

"What?" Putch laughed. "It's not like I'm forcing him to stay with me. I simply have something he wants!"

"LIAR!" Bunny shouted, and launched himself at the two.

Jack stepped forward, and pointed his staff. Ice shot out of it, striking Bunny. Bunny fell to the floor.

Sandy stepped forward. He made a ball of sand, and threw it at Jack. It hit Jack in the head, and he collapsed. He tumbled off the globe, and onto the floor.

"Jack!" Pitch jumped down and picked him up and in his arms.

"Nice thinking Sandy!" North said. "Give us Jack!"

"Never!" Pitch shouted as he disappeared with Jack.

A portal opened, and Tooth flew threw...holding Jamie's hand!

"Tooth!" North gasped. "You brought him here?!"

"Just hear me out!" Tooth said. She held out the box.

"Aren't those jack's teeth?" Bunny asked.

"We can use them and Jamie to remind Jack of who he really is!"

"Tooth, there's something you should know," North said. "Pitch and Jack Frost were here."

"What?" Tooth gasped, and held Jamie's hand tighter.

"He says he's not keeping Jack there-which is obviously a lie-"

"No doubt!"

"That's not all," Bunny said. "Pitch says he has something Jack wants."

"What could Pitch possibly have that we don't?" Jamie asked.

"We don't know," Bunny said.

"Wait, you said Jack doesn't remember much of his past life, right?" Jamie asked.

"Yeah," Tooth said.

"Well, maybe Pitch has something from his past life?"

Sandy shook his head in disbelief.

"Wait, he might be right! Look in the box: There were three, but now there's only two!"

North gasped. "How can we possibly compete with Pitch now? There's nothing Jack wants more than his past life!"

"How do you know that?" Bunny asked.

"Like Pitch knows everyone's greatest fear, I know what people want most in the world."

"What does he want?"

North paused.

"He wants his sister back."
