Love Triangle? Square?

It's been a week since Mr. Finn got fired and we're all falling apart. Especially me because Summer wont talk to me anymore. She avoids me at all times and I can't even try to explain.

Everyone says it's all my fault but they don't know the full story and neither does Summer nor does she want to hear it. Remember when Kale threatened me that she was going to kill Summer? Yeah you probably don't. Well she threatened me again and that's what happened. but Summer won't let me explain. At this point, I'm really starting not to care.

The new teacher, Mr. Matthews, is so boring. He only teaches us history and we want to rock but no one can know about that. He has a daughter, Riley, who has always been in our class. But she was more of a back-of-the-class kind of student. Ever since her father became the teacher, he moved her into Summer's spot and moved Summer to the back.

He did the same with her best friend Maya, and moved her into Tomika's seat. That left Maya to be sitting in front of me and Riley to be sitting in front of Zack. And that is a really big problem because Riley has a crush on Zack and Maya has a crush on me. But I know they have problems of their own. They're both stuck in a love triangle with this guy named Lucas but Lucas is in Clark's class.

I kind of think Maya is cute but Kale and Summer are cuter. I honestly like all three girls but I can't tell Maya I like her or she will want to date me and that will cause A LOT more drama between Kale, Summer, and I. Zack on the other hand has had to hold Tomika back several times to keep her from nearly killing Riley. 

Riley is always all over Zack and I know Tomika doesn't like it one bit. Maya isn't like that though. She isn't clingy or anything. 

I just hope nothing goes wrong today and we have a normal school day. 

I just arrived and I saw Zack at the entrance and decided to try to have a conversation with him and be friends again.

"Hey, Zack." I greeted and he looked up from his phone at me and gave me a look of disgust and turned away. 

"Come, on. At least talk to me, bro." I said. "And why would I do that?" He asked turning around.

"Because, I just want everything to go back to what it was before." I said. "I'm sorry but I'm not talking to you." He said.

"It's bad enough Summer is mad at me, bro. Please, talk to me." I begged. "No. I'm mad at you too." He said.

"No. I know you're not really mad at me. Summer is mad at me and when Summer is mad at me, Tomika is mad at me. And when Tomika is mad at me, you're mad at me, because you do what she says." I explained it to him.

"What's that supposed to mean?" he asked hurt but irritated. "It means, you let your girlfriend control you." I said. "I stand with my girlfriend, that's all. And what's it to you? Huh? You're girlfriend, or should I say ex-girlfriend, doesn't even want to look at you." Zack stepped up to me.

"Nah, you're turning this around on me because you're scared. You let Tomika dictate you but you don't want to admit it because that would be saying I'm right." I said as we stepped closer and closer to each other like we were about to have a stand off. Really, I was trying to intimidate him.

"No you can't own up to your own damn mistakes. You cheated but you don't ever admit it because you're so careless about other people's feelings. Look at where that got you. Now you've lost everybody but you don't even care." He pushed me backwards and I had to catch myself or I would have fallen.

"Don't try to tell me what I did and did not do, Zack. You know you have secrets you don't tell Tomika. I have a secret I can't tell Summer because it's for her own good. It's in fact the only reason we aren't dating anymore." I pushed him back as well.
