"Zachary Kwon." They called me up.

I ran up to the stage to accept my diploma.

"Thank you, everyone. For this. I uh, I always worked hard for this moment and I can't believe it's happening. I wanted to make my father proud, and dad, I hope you are. I want to thank my friends Summer, Lawrence, and Freddy, my girlfriend, Tomika, and my teacher, Mr. Finn. I couldn't have done this without you. And Ashton, even though we'll never come to an agreement on who the better Kwon is, I love you, bro. Shout out to my mom and brother. Love you guys. Oh... and the gardener." I laughed. I took my diploma and ran down the steps.

My father was standing there with a huge smile on his face. I walked over to him and gave him a big hug. "I'm proud of you, son." He said. "Thanks, dad. I love you." I said and we pulled away. He motioned to behind me with a smile and I turned around.

I saw Tomika standing there with a huge smile on her face. I walked over to her and waved bye to my parents as I held her hand back to our seats.

"Lawrence Dooley!" They announced.

Lawrence walked over to the podium for his speech. He started sweating like crazy, like always.

"Um um... thank you for um..." he looked so nervous. Tomika looked at me with a sad expression.

"YOU CAN DO IT, LARRY!!" I yelled from the audience. Tomika looked at me and smiled.

"YEAH! COME ON LAWRENCE!" She yelled. The audience joined in on helping him get over his fear then he motioned for us to stop.

"Thank you... I am usually very nervous when talking in front of very large crowds but you helped me. I want to thank my friends, my family, Mr. Finn, and everyone out here today. I had no one before I came to this school. When I came here, I found friends and earned myself the best girlfriend in the world, and I've made so many memories. I love you guys. Love you, even more, Esme." He smiled and accepted his certificate.

"Freddy Huerta!"

It was now Freddy's turn for his speech. "Hello everyone! I actually can't believe I graduated. I want to thank my friends, Tomika, Lawrence and Zack and my girlfriend, Summer. Thanks for sticking with me through all the drama. Thank you, Mr. Finn, for teaching me things I never thought I'd learn. I want to thank my mom especially. She flew all the way from Canada to see me graduate. She let me stay in Austin when I wanted to be with my friends. Also, thank you, Lawrence, for letting me stay in your house while my mom was away. Love you, mom." He said and everyone clapped

All the graduates got in a huge group.

"HERES TO NEVER GROWING UP!" We said and threw our caps up in the air.

An hour later, the gang, our parents, and Mr. Finn, all went out to eat.

"Table for um... 17," I said. Everyone laughed at how big of a group we were. "Umm.. right this way?" The waitress led us to a large party table.

If you're wondering why our group is so big, it consisted on me, Tomika, Summer, Freddy, Lawrence, Mr. Finn, both my parents, both of Tomika's parents, both of Freddy's, both of Lawrence's and Esme's.

We ordered our food and it took a while to come but we eventually got our food.

"This is the best night of my life." Tomika said finishing up her desert.

"Yeah, I can't believe we graduated guys!" Summer said. "It's like our song... The Future Starts Right Now."

"Yeah..." Tomika smiled. "We're gonna live our lives.."
