In a parallel world
they're sitting
on swings in
an empty park
and he's emptying
out his thoughts
to her, hesitating,
for he thought
it was a mess
whereas his mind
was an undiscovered
Oasis in the middle of
a barren desert for her
and she stared at him
wondering how someone
could look so enchanting
even after the hauntings
he'd passed himself through.In a parallel world
he's hearing her laughter
in an empty café at three
in the morning and amidst the
soft silence that meant more
pleasant than it should've have,
a charmingly sweet lullaby
she breathes out and
while she's conscious
of the way it sounds,
it's an airy embrace of
everything peaceful
and quiet residing
in his rumbling and
chaotic heart and
he craves to let her know
that she had a permanent place there. In a parallel world
of euphonious melodies
and breathtaking moments
they have a chance
amidst the chaos
and the storms. In a parallel world,
what seems to be
a dream in this world,
is a reality.
