I'm burning with desire,
But turning myself to the fire.
And I open my eyes,
Feeling somehow vacuous.

While I'm drowning in the oceans,
Of salty cries and deep emotions.
I reach out for the surface,
Searching around for one last look at your face.

You stand there, completely pale.
I scream your name, but that's utterly futile.
So I thrash around whilst calling out your name again and again.
But that goes all in vain.

Because by then,
I'm gone.
