Keith slid Into his seat by the window, Lance soon followed and sat in the middle of the 3 seat row. Funny enough all around them was empty, not a soul was in site for quite a number of rows. They shrugged it off thinking the travellers would soon come.

Little did they know that a certain group of adults were up at the front giggling.

"I can't believe they still haven't realised their feeling towards each other" Sandra gushed "this trip better bring them together" Rosa giggled. You see, the parents knew their sons. They noticed the simple things over the years. Like how Lances eyes linger and Keith body whenever they go swimming. How Keiths gaze is often lost in Lances ocean eyes. How they are basically glued to each other. Things like that have not gone unnoticed by the four adults.

Ten minutes had passed since they boarded, Keith sat up and looked around confused.

"Um Lance don't you think it's a little suspicious that barely anyone's down here?"

"Yeah I was just thinking that, lemme check our tickets"

"But it's not just that, our parents said they couldn't get seats together. There sure as hell are a lot of seats around us"

"Those little— They're trying to set us up!" Lance bolted up in his seat and pointed his finger up to exaggerated his accusation.

"Don't be stupid there's probably just a mess up in the system or something, sit down you weirdo" Keith mumbled and slouched back into his seat.

"Your the weirdo, you listen to screamo!"

"It's Alternative!" he extended his words, trying to get the sentence into Lances head.

"Whatever. Your emo. End of discussion."

The plane was gliding down the runway slowly, the pilot steering it towards where they were set to take off. They turned a corner before gaining speed.

Lance whimpered silently in fear. Unfortunately for him, just audible for Keith to hear. Sudden realisation hit him as he remembered Lances fear of flying. He glanced over at the boy squeezing his eyes shut and struggling to breath. His panic attacks were setting in. Lances hands gripped the seat, his nails almost tearing the fabric.

Keith quickly turned to him the best he could. His slowly removed Lances hands and wrapped his arms around the trembling boy. Lance tensed a bit in surprise before melting into the calming embrace.

"Shh it's okay nothing bad's gonna happen, take a deep breath"

Lances hands tightened on the fabric of Keith's shirt, although he felt better in Keith arms he still was terrified. However he did as he was told and focused on Keith's calms heart beat, taking slowly, shaky, deep breaths.

Although the seatbelt was digging into Keith side, causing his skin to burn, he refused to let go of Lance until he was calm and the plane was smoothly gliding in the air.

In under a minute, the plane was quietly gliding through the clouds. No turbulence, no funny angles. Lance was back to breathing normally. Both boys quietly parted way, reluctantly, but they'd never admit that.

No words were shared.

They both tried to repress their feeling desperately. Thankfully those thoughts leaving soon enough as sleep took the wheel for both exhausted boys.

They were 6 hours in, Lance was on his second romance movie and Keith was reading some action novel.
