“I still don’t understand why I can’t get into contact with Yoongi-hyung. You said he doesn’t remember me so I can just meet him somewhere as strangers” whined Taehyung.

“I don’t want to deceive him tae, if he finds out, he’ll think I have something to do with it, and he’ll never forgive me” sighed Jimin.

“But it’s not fair! I did nothing wrong, why do I have to lose him as well?”

“And you think I did?!” hissed Jimin.

Taehyung was caught off guard, sometimes he talks before he speaks.

He was stunned for a moment, and Jimin took it as confirmation.

“ You don’t believe me.” he sighed, bringing his knees to his chest and holding them in his embrace.

“No, no, no… shhh, I didn’t mean it, that’s not what I meant, god that came out so wrong. Of course, I believe you chim! I just meant that this is something that’s between you two” said Taehyung, wrapping his smaller friend in his arms, trying to wipe the tears but the dancer won’t lift his face.

Taehyung really hated himself right now.

Words weren’t one of his strong points. He wishes he would finally learn to think before he speaks, he’s afraid someday his tongue will cost him a friend.

“He hates me” he hears Jimin whisper.

“No, no he doesn’t. He said it himself. He just doesn’t know you” the younger tried to ease his friend.

“He doesn’t want to know me” mumbled Jimin and taehyung didn’t know how to answer so he just kept silent and hoped his arms would provide enough comfort.

“He won’t try for me, he doesn’t want to remember me” taehyung just tightened his grip on his friend.

“He said he didn’t forget anything important” whispered Jimin, he then lifted his head and looked his friend straight in the eyes as he asked
“Am I that unimportant?”

Taehyung was caught off guard, and before he could respond Jimin carried on
“Am I so insignificant?”

Taehyung finally got his senses back”No, listen to me, No. you’re so important, you hear me? You’re so So important. Stop thinking like that.”

“But he forgot about me.” whimpered Jimin.

“That’s not fair Jimin, it’s not like he got over you. He has amnesia. He didn’t choose to forget you.”

“He did, he chose to forget me, maybe not consciously, but he did” argued Jimin.

“Because he’s hurt! Don’t you get it? He loves you so much he couldn’t bear the thought of you betraying him.
It's easier for him to forget. But you’re still there.
You have a plan to get him to remember. It'll work, and everything will be alright. You'll see.
That's the way the human mind works:
Whenever something is too unpleasant, too shameful for us to entertain, we reject it, we erase it from our memories
But the imprint is always there.”

“It’s not fair though, it’s not. It hurts so bad! It hurts, and it can't get worse.
It feels like I can't breathe, I'm suffocating, but no matter how much I'm aching, no matter how much I miss him, or how much agony I’m in now, I would never erase everything we ever had.
Even if I’m drowning in grief, I’d rather hang on to every moment that I ever held him, or every laugh that I ever heard, every shred of happiness that we ever had.
I’d rather spend every moment in torture than erase the memory of him." heaved the older.
