wings of fire
words of flames
i rise
through their stares
among their glares
i rise
so let me burn
in this world of ice
and with their hatred shall
i rise
for it doesn't matter
what they think or say
cause phoenixes are known
to rise from the flames
phoenix. there's nothing but darkness around me. i'm alone, scared. terrified. why won't someone turn on the light? dark. so, so dark. phoenix. i'm surrounded by a blinding light. i'm on top of the world. i'm strong, resilient. fierce. phoenix. my skin itches. it burns. the flames surround me. water. i need water. phoenix. i am a fighter. these flames make me stronger. i am born of fire. phoenix.
