i sang my love for you
to the fireflies
in my garden
and they danced

a buzz to the left. a buzz to the right. lights as yellow as the sun and as small as a pebble twinkling in the dark. bright yellow on dark blue. like the rays of sun scattering on a mountain peak. like a bright, bright stone twinkling under the deep, deep sea. little pixies fluttering in my garden of midnight, dancing to the rhythm of my heartbreak and happiness.
