Imagine edwin:

"Ed, will you pick out my outfit for tonight, I wanna look good for your family" I said as I picked up dress after dress and throwing them in frustration
"Of course, anything for my baby" he kissed me on the cheek and started to pick out outfits for me.
"How's about we just use one of my hoodies as a dress and you wear your long boot heels?" He said as he held them up."are you sure?" I looked at myself In the mirror and analysed my outfit thoroughly. "You look good in everything, why don't you trust me?" He started laughing and he put on my shoes for me
"I'd rather us stay at home Edwin, I mean, will they like me?" I twiddled my thumbs around as he finished sippin up my heels
"Of course they will y/n, that's why I fell in love with you"

We walked into the restaurant where I was meeting his parents. My hands were sweaty and my feet were sore but I thought about Edwin the whole time
"Hey dear, hello my beautiful baby boy" she greeted Edwin with many kisses and she hugged me tightly. His dad on the other hand waved at me and sat down quickly

"Mom, dad. This is y/n, this is my girlfriend and I wanted to introduce you to her before the fans did" I sat in my chair with a straight posture. The waiter asked us what we wanted to eat and we all gave our orders
Edwin hadn't told me that his dad usually orders their food and of course i spoke up and ruined everything. Edwin looked at me and smiled and I gently smiled back
All through the night I was making mistakes and Edwin was only trying to be supportive and I was failing him. When we were having dessert, his father kept staring at me and critiquing everything I did. I had enough at that point and I rushed into the bathroom flooding in tears. Edwin's mother followed me I tot he bathroom and asked me what was wrong

"Mrs H, I don't know what to do, I'm trying my best to make you guys like me but your husband hates me and I don't want that on Edwin, what- what do I do?" I cried into the piece of tissue she gave me
"Little chica, don't worry about him. He only acts tough because he wants to see how you'll handle it and by the looks of things your doing really good." She rubbed my back to calm me down.
"Really?" I said wiping away the mascara under my eye.
"Yeah, Edwin's last girlfriends were all snobs and only wanted him for his money. They didn't even say hi to us when they saw us, but you, you had many conversations with us and we loved that about you. He even told me himself he knew you were a keeper but he only did that to test you. I'm sorry if he made you feel unwanted" she kissed my forehead and I hugged her back
"Ready to go out again" she had giving me my handbag
"Ok"

"You ok baby" Edwin said hugging me tightly
"Yeah, thank you. Now let's eat some dessert"

We ate the remaining meal and we said our goodbyes. Mr. Honoret apologised to me and shook my hand

Me and Edwin got home and went straight to bed from there. We fell asleep in each others arms and didn't wake up until late the next morning
