Jeff tries to change everything about you to be like his ex
Recap: "Because I would rather be hated for who I am, than loved for who I'm not. Goodbye Jeff, I hope you'll find who you're looking for at some point." I gave him a small fakeish smile and walked towards his front door.

Y/N

I wish I could say that I felt better after breaking up with Jeff. I wish I could say that a huge weight had been lifted off of my shoulders. I wish I could say that I felt happy and that I began to feel good enough for somebody again.

But I can't say any of that because I still feel like absolute shit.

It's been probably close to three months after our break up and I guess everything is still crashing around me.

It doesn't help that Jeff went back to dating Becka a mouth after we split. But hey, it's whatever right? It's not like I wasn't expecting it.

I slammed my locker door shut and watched as Jeff stood at Becka's locker with his arm wrapped tightly around her waist.

"Still mad huh?" I turned around and saw Justin standing behind me. Justin has always been like a brother to me. I've known him for six years and he's really the only support system I have because my parents aren't around much.

I sighed rolling my eyes, "how could I not be? Jeff's an asshole," I exclaimed.

Justin and I began walking to our first period class which was world history. Unfortunately for me I have that class with Jeff as well.

"You just gotta move on, Y/N," Justin mumbled. "Like if he doesn't love you for who you are then obviously he's not fucking worth your time."

I turned my head to the side to glance at Justin, "getting all sappy on me now are we, Foley?" I smirked raising my eyebrow.

He just rolled his eyes and let out a small chuckle as we walked into our history class.

I placed my books on my desk and sat down waiting for class to start. Jeff walked into the class and we made eye contact for a couple of seconds until I rolled my eyes and looked away.

He sat at his desk that was the row beside me and three desks down.

The bell rang for people to get to their classes and just as Mr. Harris began to start the lesson, a note with my name on it had been passed to me.

I figured it was probably from Jeff, but I opened it anyway. It was definitely Jeff. I could tell because of his writing which is surprisingly neat for a guy.

The note read:

I've been trying to text you for the past couple of days but you blocked my number...can we talk after school by the bleachers?

I thought about it for a few moments before crumpling up the piece of paper and setting it on the edge of my desk. After all what was there to talk about?

After class ended, I got up from my seat and grabbed my books off of my desk.

I waltzed over to Justin and handed him the note Jeff had wrote me, "whats this?" He questioned.

"It's from Jeff," I replied. And just as I said that Jeff approached me.
