I woke up laying on my stomach, still on the couch. I sat up and stretched. I was feeling much more awake now. Across from me, I saw Kevin and Avi working on something, probably arranging. I didn't see Scott and Kirstie so I went to go looking for them. But I didn't have to search for too long because they were just sitting by each other on the beds talking and laughing with each other. I went over and sat down next to Kirstie.

Kirstie looked at me and smirked. "Look who finally woke up!"

I laughed quietly. "How long was I out?"

"Like four hours," Scott replied, checking his phone. I rubbed the back of my head. Four hours? I must've really been tired. I then remembered how I feel alseep on Scott's shoulder but made myself not blush. Still, I wondered what they were talking about. "I was just showing Kirstie Todrick's new music video Snow White and the Seven Thugs and she was dying."

"Oh yeah! It was hilarious!" I said.

"I'm just wondering how he Victoria Justice to do it!" Kirstie added in, shrugging her shoulders.

"Toddy's got some connections!" We all shared a hearty laugh.

Once I stopped laughing, I looked over at Scott and saw him grinning from ear to ear, still laughing, which made me smile even bigger. He truly had the best smile out of anyone I have ever met. And then I looked at his deep blue eyes. They were gorgeous. I stayed like that until I realize I was staring and turned away blushing. I turned back to Kirstie and saw she had her brow raised at me. I didn't know what to say so I just chuckled nervously. What? I have nothing to hide. Yeah, Scott has beautiful eyes, anyone can see that!

Two days later on Friday afternoon, we finally made it to New York City. I was so glad because I didn't want to stay cramped on this bus for any longer. I looked over at Scott and I could tell that he was very tired, but at the same time he looked so elated to finally be here. Genevieve stopped the bus when we made it to the Marriott Downtown hotel where we would be staying. We took our suitcases and went inside the hotel to check in. I was sharing a room with Kirstie and Scott and Kevin and Avi were sharing a room.

"Hey, roomies!" Scott exclaimed, wrapping his arms around Kirstie's side.

"You are such a child!" She said, acting annoyed. I threw my arms around her other side and held her tight. Kirstie made a fake pouty face similar to Avi's 'superfrown'.

Our rooms were on the fifth floor so we went to the elevator. The elevator door opened and inside was an older woman and a teenage girl who gasped when she saw us. She was telling us about how big a fan she was and asked her mom to take a picture of her with us. It was really adorable, she was obviously so nervous about meeting us but Avi was able to calm her down and gave her a hug. We said our goodbyes to the girl and her mom and went into the elevator.

When we walked in to our room, Scott dropped all his things and ran straight for the bed. His body literally sunk into it. Kirstie and I shook our heads at him. I went over to the other bed and put my hand on it and it was probably the softest bed ever. I was definitely going to enjoy sleeping here for three days.

"No time to sleep now, we have to get in as much sight seeing as possible!" Kirstie announced.

I yawned and rubbed my eyes. "I really don't want to right now." I said. Scott didn't even move. We were both exhausted.

And then she gave us the dreaded puppy dog face and begged. "But I can't go without my two boys!"

Scott stood up. "That means we don't have a choice." I rolled my eyes but smiled anyway.

So Kirstie, Scott, and I first ended up walking to a nearby mall to buy some cute clothes. That was kind of fun. In Urban Outfitters, "Ürbán Öutfítters" Scott said, I bought a few nice shirts and a pair of dark blue skinny jeans that I fell in love with. Scott, nice enough, volunteered to pay for everything like a gentleman. Kirstie and I tried arguing with him but one thing you should know about Scott is that he is very stubborn and determined.

"You didn't have to do that, you know." I said with my arms crossed.

"Yup," Scott said, popping the 'p'. "Okay, what should we do now, we have a soundcheck in about two hours."

I placed a finger on my chin and thought. "The park, maybe?" Kirstie and Scott both shrugged their shoulders in unison.

The park had only been a short walk away. There were few people there and some were fans of us so they came to have pictures with us like normal. Once that was done, Kirstie wanted to sit and rest on a bench for a few moments while we went for a walk. That's what she gets for dragging us out of the hotel, I guess.

The walk was mostly silent with Scott having small talk and greeting people who crossed paths with us. It was really nice though just to close to him. I can't really explain it, but being around Scott just makes me feel so good. I could say the same about my other friends but with Scott it was... different.

I breathed in a heavy dose of the fresh air, breaking the silence. I felt Scott look down at me and I smiled back up at him. Then what he did next really surprised me. He placed his arm around my side and pulled me close. We just made it to New York and I already lost track of how many times he's made me blush. I knew Scott did it as just a friendly gesture since he's already with Alex but I couldn't help but do the same to him. We continued to walk like that and as we did I could tell people were looking at us weird and telling their children to avert their eyes but to be honest, Scott and I didn't even care. We were just happy to spend time with each other and if they wanted to assume something that wasn't true then that was their problem.

After our walk we went back to Kirstie and we just hung out and talked for about an hour sort of like how it used to be back in high school. We missed times like that back then when we could just do whatever and not have to worry about music. Of course we all loved our jobs very much but it's always nice to take a break from it every once in a while.

A few minutes later, we decided it was time to start heading to the Radio City Music Hall for our soundcheck. It was far from here walking so we just hitched a taxi cab. We made it there in about fifteen minutes. Kevin and Avi had already made there a bit before. We put our shopping bags away somewhere and we starting warming up our voices.

Dejan Tubic, the same choreorapher from our North American tour, came up to us to give the rundown. We'll be performing six songs tonight: Video Killed the Radio Star, Daft Punk, Natural Disaster, I Need Your Love, Telephone and Valentine. Valentine was also the one I was the most nervous about as of right now. I'm not sure if you noticed, but lately I've been having some weird thoughts and we have a little duet in that song.

As we sang Video Killed the Radio Star on the massive stage, I found myself on auto-pilot even while doing the choreography, always looking back at Scott. He had his eyes closed, a tight grip on his mic, and a smile on his face. I loved how he got so into the music. My solo was coming up so I quickly snapped out of my daze and focused. I tried my best to sing with as much passion as Scott usually did and fill the room with my voice. When the song was over, Scott immediately ran over to me and talked about how great I sounded. I was not going to blush this time!

"Oh, that's just how talented I am." I said with sass. Scott shook his head at me.

Then Dejan had to cut in, "Mitch, you were doing really great, but if you could keep your eyes on the audience and not Scott, that'd be so perfect." Dejan Tubic just called me out.

Now was the perfect time to blush. I felt everyone's eyes on me including Scott's. I wanted to disappear right then and there. I tried to force a smile and just laugh it off like it was nothing. I don't think I fooled anyone though.

Okay, I'm gonna come right out and admit it to myself: I have the biggest crush on my best friend, Scott Richard Hoying.
