POV Mitch
My eyes slowly cracked opened as the light entered the room through the curtains. I couldn't open my eyes fully because the sunlight hurt them and not only that, but my head was pounding like a beating tom drum. I sat up on my pillow and placed both of my hands on my temples to maybe subdue the pain. It didn't work too well. How the hell did this even happen? To be honest, I didn't remember how I ended up in bed or even why I was shirtless.
I looked around the room but I didn't see Scott or Kirstie. I removed the covers and slowly stood up, straightening my back only for me to almost fall back down to my knees because of my headache. Okay, so one clue was that this was clearly a hangover. I trudged to the bathroom and nobody was in there either. I stood there, scratched my beard and thought.
I went for my pockets in search of my phones and gasped as soon as I realized it wasn't there. I briefly panicked before finding it on my bed, covered by the blanket. I checked the time and it was past 12 o'clock.
"Holy crap," I thought out loud. I didn't even have any messages from anyone which made things even more confusing. I threw my phone carelessly back on the bed causing it to ricochet off the mattress and hit the wall. I huffed in annoyance. It made no new cracks so whatever.
I went into the bathroom and turned on the sink to splash some cool water on my face. That seemed to help but the pain still remained. I decided that maybe getting some fresh air would be a good thing. I stripped from my pants and boxers and leaped into the shower. The warm water felt so good on my body and the steam actually helped to clear my mind and I began to remember what happened last night.
"Oh shit..." I silently cursed.
I became embarrassed as a blush grew on my face. I was glad that no one was around to witness it. What I specifically remember from last night was me getting completely hammered, hitting on random guys, even hitting on Scott and having him take me back here. On one hand, I'm so lucky Scott was there to protect me but on the other, I must've totally humiliated myself.
I pulled back the curtain and stepped out while wrapping a towel around my waist. I forgot to grab some clothes to change into so I didn't want to go out there and have Kirstie or especially Scott see my bare bottom if they came back. I took my black Favelas shirt and skinny jeans from my suitcase and also a beanie because I didn't feel like doing my hair at all.
I quickly got dressed and picked up my phone and put it in my Celinè hand bag and put that over my shoulder. Than I headed out the door. I only took about two steps before I noticed Avi standing in the middle of the hallway on his phone, probably tweeting about BBQ.
"Hey beanie-buddy," I greeted with a bright smile, playfully punching him in the arm. That was literally so dorky.
Avi looked up from his phone and smiled back at me. "Hey, Mitch. You feeling okay?"
I lifted my hand and shook it slightly. "I'm alright, still really hungover though."
"Same!" he chuckled, "This is why I hardly ever drink!"
"Do you know where everyone is?" I asked him.
He began stroking his beard like a wise elder. "I know Kevin went to check out some museum but I have no idea where Scott and Kirstie are." He replied with a shrug.
"That's so weird..." I remarked. "What are you up to anyway?"
"I was just gonna take a walk around... Did you wanna tag along?" Avi asked.
I nodded. "Yeah, that sounds fun."
"Alright, after we can come back here to chill a bit before the soundcheck." Avi said as we walked toward the elevator. He pushed the down button and a couple of seconds later, the elevator arrived and we stepped in, Avi pushing the button with the number 1 on it.
