Remembering what Dark had said before you fell asleep, you wandered down the hall until you found the guest bedroom. You slowly pushed the door open, wincing as it creaked slightly. Noticing Dark was still asleep, an idea struck your mind as you crept up to the bed. You climbed onto it and crawled over to Dark's sleeping body. You awkwardly looked at him for a few minutes before finally acting out your idea. Leaning down, you left kisses on Dark's neck and jawline. He shifted underneath you, but you continued to kiss him.
"(Y/N)," Dark breathed out in his sleep. You let your hands wander down his chest and to his waist. Suddenly, he woke up and snatched your hands. After realizing who you were, he let out a sigh of relief and released his tight grip on you.
"I'm sorry, Princess. You scared me."
"It's alright. I should've waited for you to wake up."
"No, come here," Dark said as he opened his arms for you to snuggle into. "I liked your surprise," he whispered in your ear as you shivered from his hot breath on your neck.
"Did you now?" You teased.
"Mhmm," he mumbled as he kissed your cheek down to your neck, biting and sucking each time causing you to let out a moan. Your hands immediately went to his hair as you connected your lips with Dark's for a passionate and heated kiss. Before things could get too carried away, you pulled away and exchanged smiles with him.
"Hey, listen, I'm sorry about hurting you. I really am. I wasn't in my right mind. I just get so jealous when you're with someone else that I overreact. I try not to, but it's just the way I am-"
"Dark, it's alright. I'm okay now."
"Yeah but you almost weren't okay. I could have easily killed you in my rage."
You paused as his words soaked in. He was absolutely right, and that's why you were terrified of him.
"If Tyler had not shown up, we probably wouldn't be having this conversation right now," Dark said as his eyes bore into yours searching for your emotions. "You might have been unconscious...or worse."
"Dark, please stop. Let's not think about the past right now, okay? You don't need to beat yourself up over it."
Dark let out a long sigh. "Okay."
You smiled brightly at him. "Great. Now, we need to do something with Tyler. I know your personal bias against him, so I'm proposing that you let me take care of him."
Dark let out a low growl. "You mean as in healing him?"
"N-No, that's not what I meant," you scrambled to think of what to say. Suddenly, it hit you. "I meant that I can dispose of him for you," you stated forcing a smirk in hopes of making your words convincing.
"I'm listening."
"I just need permission to take his car. We can't have his car in our driveway; it'd be way too suspicious. I'll take him and his car somewhere remote and dispose of the trash."
A wide smile came across his face. "Wow, that sounds great! I'm proud of you, Princess." Dark leaned in and kissed you. You kissed back before gliding your hand across his cheek with a smile.
"I'll be back soon, Daddy," you teased him with his nickname before getting out of bed.
----------
After having a quick shower and changing into a simple outfit, you began your "mission" to save Tyler. You exited the bedroom and walked through the house to reach your final destination. While walking, you couldn't help but look around and see all the blood that coated the walls. The images made you shiver as you remembered the horrendous acts that happened here.
Finally, you reached the front door where Tyler was last. Your eyebrows pulled together in confusion and frustration when he wasn't there. After scanning the area, you noticed a sloppy blood trail that led away from the door and towards the kitchen.
"Shit," you whispered as you followed the trail. You hoped that you would find Tyler rather than Dark. You didn't want to imagine what would happen if he found Tyler first.
You rounded the corner and continued to follow the trail through the kitchen. The blood seemed to be getting darker, and it only worried you more as you carried on. The trail went out of the kitchen and towards the living area. You let out a sigh as you continued to follow it, now growing slightly annoyed by the futile chase. Suddenly, the trail ended abruptly before it entered the living room. Before you could begin to panic, however, a bloody hand wrapped around your mouth and restrained your screams. You squirmed underneath your captor's grasp as tears filled your eyes. You felt your body turn around as you became face-to-face with your attacker. He pressed a single finger to his lips as he slowly released his hand from your mouth.
"Tyler?! What the hell?"
"I was hiding from Dark."
"You didn't have to scare the hell out of me," you scoffed.
"Sorry, I just had to make sure you stayed quiet," he whispered back.
"I'm actually here to help you. We have to go."
"What? That'll only get us killed!" He warned with a shocked expression.
"Just trust me, we won't. But I think we should leave before he gets the chance to see you."
"Good idea."
A/N: Sorry this chapter was a bit shorter than the usual ones. I wrestled with it for a long time before deciding what all should happen in just this chapter. It's almost like a "filler" chapter. The next one is going to be great though, trust me;)
