"KYLE, I WANT YOU TO stay in your room, okay? Troy is coming over and I don't want you to scare him with your chimpanzee face!" I yelled from his doorway. He was in his room playing stupid video games.
He packed a handful of popcorn in his mouth, more like, on his shirt. "I make no promises Leah. If he would become your husband, shouldn't he get to meet his brother in law?"
I squint my eyes at him, mouths forming a sneer, "I'm warning you!"
He popped another handful of popcorn, "Beg me?"
"Is the world coming to an end?"
"Fine. Your call."
"Please?" that should do, unless he wanted to be castrated.
"Get on your knees"
"I'm not sucking your dick!"
"Gross. I guess my chimpanzee face would be meeting someone tonight. And what should I wear? The two months old boxers or three months?"
I made a face at him and he stuck his tongue out, so five year old! "I'm warning you bro. You better not try anything funny or else, your balls would have to pay for it." I pointed two fingers at my face, then at him, giving him a last warning before turning on my heels to another area of the house where the air is less polluted.

"You're improving, that's good." Troy remarked when I finished solving a problem on my own. On my fucking own!
It helps when you have a cute teacher.
"What?" he asked and I slapped a hand over my mouth, did I say that out loud?
"Uh, I mean, it's uh... Yeah I'm improving"
"I actually heard what you said earlier. It's also easy when the teacher has a brilliant student" he winked at me and the world stopped around us. Only the sound of wedding bells ringing and the promises of honeymoon.
I quickly snapped out of my future before I make a fool of myself. "I think 'dumb' is the word you're looking for"
He laughed, the sound vibrating through my very being and I couldn't help from joining in and 'accidentally' touching his forearm. "No, really you are good."
I shrugged, missing the contact already but at least I was progressing. Very soon, we'll be expecting our nineteenth baby. Yay.
"I think we're done for today. I should get going"
You should totally spend the night with me. The rest of your days, actually. "Yeah you should"
I walked him to door but before he could leave, the devil appeared. In nothing but boxers. At least they were clean.
"Hey babe, I didn't know you had a guest" the devil said as he bit into an apple.
"I didn't know you were going to be castrated!" I warned, venom seeping in every syllable.
Troy turned to me and raised his eyebrows, probably at the word, babe and I wasted no time in shaking my head so hard that it could spin off.
"And you are?" Kyle directed at Troy, arms crossed and feet stretched apart, I could easily drive my knees up to those things dangling between them.
"I'm Troy, a friend of Leah. I know you from school?" I couldn't believe my ears, Troy called us friends. At least Kyle did one thing right in his life.
Before Kyle could answer, I beat him to it. "He's never been to school in his life. He's actually..." I pushed Troy out the door and once we're safe outside with the door shut, I continued. "...a nobody. He's not a nobody, like nobody. He's just someone whose existence doesn't matter and you shouldn't worry your pretty face—I mean pretty brain about him."
"Okay?"
"Yeah, and there's nothing between us. We're not banging, if that's what you are thinking. I mean, siblings don't do that kind of stuff right?"
"I should get going." without sparing me another glance, he walked away, dragging my dignity along with him.
Someone was going to die.
