"MOM, HE WASN'T EVEN INVITED!" I yelled from my room. It was Friday night and Andrea had invited me to a party one of the guys in school was throwing and Kyle wanted to tag along. "Andrea invited only me. He was just there when I was invited!" I yelled again, trying to convince my mom why my twin brother shouldn't follow me to a party. Come on!

"I was invited too. And besides I should go with you so you won't make stupid mistakes!" he yelled from his room.

"Asshole" I muttered under my breath as bent to tie my shoe laces. I was putting on just a simple white singlet and black leather jacket with yellow jean shorts and a pair of black and white converse.

"I heard that!" Mom scolded from the kitchen and I rolled my eyes. My phone buzzed and it was Andrea, knowing that she'd arrived to pick me up, I rushed downstairs. Planning to leave Kyle behind.

I kissed mom goodbye but not before seeing her raised eyebrow at my outfit. There's nothing wrong with it, gosh! "Bye mom!" I rushed out before she could ask me to go inside and change.

I opened the passenger side door of Drea's BMW and slumped on the chair, panting from the little race I ran. Running has never been my forte. "Let's go!"

"Hello to you too!" Andrea rolled her eyes and started the engine of her car. "What happened, why were you running?" she asked as she revved out of the driveway.

"I was running from the devil. Kyle wanted to come to the party, can you imagine! It's a good thing we're outta here" I scoffed as I practically banged my head on the head rest.

"Kyle?"

"Yeah? Kyle, my brother. That guy sure knows how to press every single one of my buttons. He's ruined more than enough for me, I can't allow him get in the way of any progress I might be making tonight"

"I think we didn't escape from him. Oops!" I was confused for a while but when I thought it over and looked back, I banged my head on the dashboard.

"How did he even get in here?" I asked, once I've recovered from pain in my head.

"I'm smarter and faster than you, Leah." Kyle answered from the back. "Let's go party!" he yelled and made to punch the air but instead, his fist met with the hood of the car and he howled in pain.

This caused Drea and I to bark out laughter. I laughed so hard that my ribs hurt. That's what you get for messing with me. If this was a movie, this would be the part where I'd put on dark glasses and do the badass slow motion walk.
