SHOPPING

Someone knocked on the door.
"Yeah? ",I said.
Mom entered. She smiled at me. I smiled back.
"Ray can you do me a favor?"
"Yeah of course mom"
"Can you take Rue for shopping today? "
I looked up from my Maths journal at her, dumbfounded.
"WHAT?! SERIOUSLY MOM? "
"Ray I'm busy and she wants to go with an elder"
I groaned.
My mom ruffled my hair and left my room after chiming a 7'0 clock.

7:15:
I went outside to see Rue and Sunshine standing beside my car.
"Hey", I said.
"Hi", Sunshine smiled which make my heart flip.
Man, she's looking really pretty today. I wish I could ask her why she was spying on me.
"You wanna take us or not? ", Rues voice brought me back to reality. I realized I've been staring at Sunshine. I got red and quickly opened the door of the front seat.
"Hop on, ladies"
First we decided to go to the supermarket to buy some things from a list Mom gave us. We were almost halfway there when a thought struck me.
I turned to Rue.
"Mom said you needed an elder to go with you. If Sunshine was going with you then why did you need me?"
"Mom said this? I guess she was just being polite. I told her that I just wanted a driver",she said smirking.
I puffed out air from my mouth as Sunshine laughed in the backseat.

Five minutes later we reached the supermarket. Rue and Sunshine did the shopping while I followed them with the trolley, bored.
I was just looking around when I spotted Tris.
"Hey Tris!", I shouted.
He looked back then his eyes fell upon me and a wide grin spread on his face.
He came towards us, Daisy at his heels.
"Man what're you doing here?", he asked.
"Mom made me go with Rue for shopping"
"Hey Rue", he said as he hugged her.
"Tris meet sunshine. Sunshine this is my best friend Tris"
They shook hands.
"You're pretty. Just like sunshine", a voice said and we all looked down to see Daisy staring at Sunshine in awe.
We all laughed.
"And you're SO CUTE!", sunshine exclaimed.
Rue and Sunshine started talking about how cute she is while picking her up and kissing her cheeks.
Tris looked at me grinning.
"And what were you doing here?", I finally asked him.
"Mom wasn't at home and daisy was hungry so we came here to pick up some things"
"By the way, you never told me about this girl", he said.
I felt my cheeks going red. "She's our new neighbour". Tris looked at me and with his eyebrows raised he chuckled slightly clearly aware of my red cheeks.
After saying bye to Tris and Daisy we went back to the car and headed for the mall. There was a lot of traffic in the way.
"SHUCK YOU!! ",I shouted at a man who was doing a useless effort to unpark his car and causing a lot of traffic because of it. The man looked at me confused then parked the car again, aware of my red angry face.
Rue started laughing. After a while I joined in.
"Sorry but i don't get it", Sunshine said apologetically from the backseat.
I looked at her in the rearview mirror and said,
"It's a slang language used in the maze runner"
"Oh OK I get it".
I smiled at her and and we stared at each other for some time. Then Rue coughed and I continued driving.
