-Bora's P.O.V-

I checked the clock on the wall as I hurried down the hallways of the literal "prison" I'm being held in. The time read 11:06 a.m.

Shit, I'm 6 minutes late.

I scurry into the hall where our training takes place and seen everyone crowded around the instructor. He was calling out a number of names and the more names he called out, the more mutants spread out around the room with their partners. Luckily, he called me last. I look around the room and notice that everyone is with their partners from last week, so that means... fuck. Yoongi is my partner again.

What am I supposed to say to him?! I can't say anything to him, because Tae warned me not to. How am I supposed to get through this session of training without saying a word?! Communication makes good training, and communicating with him is gonna be hard because I guess I have to abide by my brother.

I look towards a corner in the room and see Yoongi slouched against the wall, pads on his hands, but just staring into space. He must be waiting for me, because you can't just train alone when the exercises are in pairs.

I huff in annoyance and walk over cautiously to Yoongi. He still has the same sour face on him that he always wears. Nothing new there. I guess it's his defence mechanism. Just have a resting bitch face and no one will approach you to irritate you. Seems smart enough.

He notices me and peels himself from the wall, flashing half a smirk to greet me. I roll my eyes. He tosses me some padded gloves and I glide them on my hands. But then he kicks some shin guards over to me too. I look at them puzzled.

"Instructor says we're practising kicking today or something, I don't know I wasn't really listening." He half chuckles as he scratches behind his neck. I just nod and get into my stance to train with him. The sooner we get this done, the quicker I can leave without having to speak to him.

We spar for some time, and then swap places. He looks like he's concentrating, but not on the task he is performing right now. Like he's deep in thought about something else. He keeps punching again until he finally backs away and looks at me, tilting his head.

"You're unusually quiet today." He states. My breathing hitches.

Here we go...

"Lost your voice? Or was it something that Taehyung said to you about me?"

I continue to ignore him but that doesn't seem to be working anymore.

He sighs and walks over to get his bottle of water. Then out of nowhere, I finally gather the courage to murmur a sentence that was barely even audible.

"Tae said I shouldn't talk to you."

"Is that so? I bet he said that before me and him made amends." Yoongi half chuckled. I widen my eyes at his claim. Him and Tae are friends again?

"So you guys are cool now?" I ask. Hm, Taehyung failed to mention this to me.

"Yeah, he didn't tell you?" Yoongi ponders. I shake my head. "Apparently not."

I see our trainer walking around, inspecting the other groups and noting their progress. I strap on the shin guards quickly before he makes his way over here and Yoongi goes to grab the large shield-like piece of padding to protect himself as I kick against its frame. The instructor strolls over with his clipboard in hand and watches me for a few minutes.
