Chapter 6: Reunion.

-Bora's P.O.V-

I was shocked at what Yoongi told me. He knows my brother? Taehyung?

Jimin and Jungkook exchanged looks, then stared at me, and then at Yoongi.

"You're V's sister?" Jungkook said as he tilted his head, peering at me.

"Looking at her now, Yoongi hyung is right. I can see the resemblance." Jimin said. I didn't like that everyone was staring at me now.

"Hold on a minute, who is V?" Lisa said with confusion written all over her face. I laughed.

"He's my brother, the one I was telling you about. His nickname is V." I explained.

"Oh yeah! Wait, you guys know her brother?" She said as she pointed at the three boys.

"Yeah, we used to be close—" Jungkook said but was cut off by someone entering the cafeteria. The whole room fell silent and hundreds of pairs of eyes fell on the newcomer. His eyes scanned the room, then met mine.

I stood up in utter shock. I was completely dumbfounded.

"T-Tae?" I stuttered in uncertainty. He started running towards me, weaving in and out of the tables just to get to me.

"Bora!" He exclaimed as he came sprinting and embracing me with a hug.

I couldn't help but cry tears of happiness. I had my brother back. Everything wasn't even important anymore because Taehyung was with me... wait, HOW is he here with me?!

I broke away from the hug and peered at him cautiously. Everyone at the table stared with their jaws wide open. Yoongi laughed at Jimin and Jungkook.

"What are you doing? Catching flies? Close your mouths before someone comes and puts a dick in it." He said and nudged them. They did as they were told.

"Taehyung?! How are you here?" I yelled, half excited and half confused. Was this a dream?

Taehyung smiled at me shyly. "Yeah, about that. Can I talk to you? Alone?".

I cocked my eyebrow and then turned to my friends.

"Excuse me for a moment." I said politely.

Lisa beamed. "No no, take your time! Catch up with your brother!".

I walked with Taehyung out to the courtyard. The courtyard was surrounded by tall stone walls that were lined with sharp barbed wire. Pieces of grey fabric were scattered along the wire, indicating that some have attempted to escape from here. Did they make it out?

"Taehyung, don't get me wrong I'm stoked to see you but how are you here? Why are you in the uniform? You're not pretending to be a mutant are you?" I said unsure.

Taehyung could barely look at me. He was hesitant when saying his words. "I wish I was pretending.."

"What do you mean? Is everything okay?" I asked worriedly, but then it clicked. My expression turned from ecstatic to dark. There was only one other possible reason how Taehyung was here. I wasn't stupid.

"You're a mutant aren't you.. and you didn't tell me?!" I raised my voice.

"Bora I know what you're thinking so hear me ou—"

"No Tae! I trusted you with everything I had in me when I told you about my powers, so why couldn't you trust me with yours?! It's not like I would've told anybody! And those boys in there say they know you? You tell strangers about your powers before you tell your own sister?!" I lashed out. Everything had been so stressful these past few days, and finding out this just set me off.

"Hiding this from you was the last thing I wanted, but I did it all to protect you! Mom and Dad needed to keep you safe, and I didn't want to add on to the stress they already I had with having one mutant child, so I thought it was best to just keep quiet. But please believe me when I say this Bora, I really did want to tell you. Hiding it from you killed me." He said as he looked down to the ground. He was ashamed. I could tell he was. I can read his emotions better than anybody.

I was annoyed that Taehyung had kept this from me, and I'm not going to let him away from this easily. What else has he hidden from me? My trust for him has weakened, but he's still my brother. And I'm just so relieved to have him back.

"Well, you can probably guess we're gonna be stuck here for a while." I laughed nervously. His eyes glanced up at me through his bangs.

"Maybe, maybe not. I have a feeling we'll make it out of here." He grinned positively.

"As far as I know nobody has made it out of here." I said firmly.

"Nobody yet." Tae said, emphasizing the 'yet'. I looked at him strangely. Has he lost his mind? I turned and looked at the entrance back into the cafeteria. Lisa was standing at the door, motioning me to come back inside.

She then called over. "Come on you two! Dinner is finished."

"Welp, back to the cells. You sure you'll be okay?" I asked as I stood up and brushed myself off, it was his first night here. I had to make sure he'd be okay.

"Oh yeah, I'll be fine. Yoongi is my cell mate, so I should be alright." He laughed and gave me his signature boxy smile that always warmed my heart. It was still beyond me that he could still be so positive in a place like this.

"Alright, well I guess I'll see tomorrow big brother." I said as I punched him playfully. He grabbed me and held me in a head lock and ruffled my hair, giggling at my attempts to push him away.

"See you then." He sighed with content. "I missed you little sister."
