For the next few days life went on as it normally should. She stayed in her cell and Pierce never appeared once. As always there were many hours of being incredibly bored, and eventually even tracing letters gets repetitive. So every once in awhile she felt herself drifting off into thought about the shielded man. He looked confused and hurt all at the same time as he threw that circular shield. The shield that was also in her cell at that moment, just this one was plastic. She had never seen the man before or even heard of him, but that might just be one of the many things hydra keeps from her. Still, she wanted to know more about this mysterious america man.

Suddenly, outside the window of her cell (that literally just looked into the hallway on the other side of her door) she saw the soldier, but he wasn't alone. Pierce and many other men crowded around him. Alena began to feel very nervous and terrified, were they all going into her cell? But she soon calmed as they walked right past the door that lead to her. Putting her face up against the window she saw as they turned into another room on the left. Just inches away from her own. Although she could not see inside the room, if she put her ear against the steel door that locked her inside, she could just faintly hear their conversation. The first part was muffled, then she heard a slap. Then:

"Mission report" Pierce said intimidatingly.

"The man on the bridge, who was he?" it was the soldier's voice, raspy and broken.

"You met him on another mission." Pierce replied blankly. Then there were a couple muffles, but Alena could tell it was just a bunch saving the world nonsense. Alexander got like that when he was talking to them, but it was clear there were lies in his eyes.

"But I knew him" The soldier said confused. It reminded her of how she felt with the shield under her bed. It seemed familiar but she just couldn't quite figure it out, the same went for a mysterious notebook she had found. Were the two people she drew on the pages important? She couldn't ponder on it too long because seconds after the soldier disagreed, she could hear his screams perfectly clear from her cell. What were they doing to him? Were they making him forget? Had she forgotten as well? All of a sudden the plastic circle and the notebook under her bed started to make sense, in a forgetful way.
