Bucky woke up in an abandoned warehouse, unharmed and fully functional, except he remembered one tiny detail form hours before. They had came in a large group, many guards had surrounded him and said the words. Those stupid goddamn words. After that he was theirs, however they didn't really tell him to do much. Just stay in the warehouse until 12:00 the next day. Looking at his watch he saw that it was exactly noon. What did they not want him to see? Who were they? Then it him.Running down streets and alleyways he could feel his legs go numb. They were moving but his mind was everywhere else. He didn't have to leave that night, he could have stayed. He didn't have to write all of those stupid notes or at least he could have burned them! There wasn't anything he could do to change the past, and yet like so many others he was very keen on doing so. When he reached the apartment it looked exactly the way it had before, except for two things. The note he had written was torn up into bits and pieces on the floor. That part he expected, but on the counter there was another slip of paper. This time it was directed to him.
Dear Sergeant Barnes
I hope you appreciate the mercy i have given by leaving you to your peace, you never really signed up for this kind of life. I felt it was high time the old relic was put on it's shelf don't you say? However i do have to inform you that there was one rather new object that peaked my interest. I only saw that it was fair trade. The girl is mine, you have no need to worry as the chances of you two meeting again are very slim.
