I was up getting ready for another day of shitty work.

I hate that job with my whole life but I can't leave Lucas alone to maintain the house bills by himself.

It's already bad enough he has had a very bad attitude since J'liyah was kidnapped.

He doesn't sleep like he is supposed to.

Sometimes he breaks down crying out of nowhere.

Always smoking but he does that everytime after something bad happens to him

He even has this punching bag now and he'll stay in the garage and punch the life out of it until all of his anger has left his body.

I haven't heard from Diggy in a while and I'm kinda sad about it because he is my best friend but he is out of town so...

Lézae and me have been really close lately because she's like the only one who understands where I'm coming from with this whole thing.

I've been talking to her about my problems and she has with me about hers.

She is not only my best friend but my sister and I love that girl to death..

That's why I'm so thankful for her because I don't know what I would do to myself without her..

I would've probably killed myself by now but I'm staying strong for not only her but Lucas and Jr.

If it wasn't for none of them I would be off this earth by now.

But I'm especially staying strong for Jr.. He comforts me every night when Lucas is on the balcony smoking his life and problems away.

Jr is upset about it but he says that we will find her.. he knows we will.

Other then that over the time I've gotten a job at Denny's.

I'm a waitress and I do have to say.. I be getting all the tips🙂.

Even though Lucas doesn't want me to be working because he claims he gots it I'm still going to until he gets out of his depression mode.

" Babe.. Come lay back down. I wanna sleep on you " Lucas said groggily as his eyes fluttered open and he was rubbing them

" You know I can't.. I'm going to work " I said buttoning up my black jeans

He groaned and sucked his teeth

" I told you many times that you don't needa work.. I got it " he said

I put my hair in a ponytail

" I know baby but your not mentally stable right now.. I'm only doing this until you bounce back up then imma quit. But I'm having second chances on that too " I said

He sat up and went into the bathroom as I heard the door closed softly

Sighing I continue to get ready as I heard loud thuds from foot steps coming down the hall.

I hate when Jr wakes up before I go to work... he doesn't like when I leave him so early.

" GOOD MORNING! " he said barging in

He was smiling from ear to ear until he looked at me

His whole smile dropped to a frown

" Mama are you really going to work.. already? " he asked

I nodded

" B-But it's not fair.. I even- "

He sighed and walked back out with his head hung low

I felt my eyes stinging from tears

My poor baby...

Lucas walked out the bathroom rubbing his stomach

Rolling my eyes I put my cap on and pick up the keys and my phone

" Can't believe you still going " Lucas said pulling me towards him

I smiled and patted his chest

" I'm not staying so you can forget it " I said

He rolled his eyes up and then bent down planting a kiss on my lips

I kissed him back tasting the minty toothpaste

He pulled away

" You ain't finna be going to work inna minute fucking around with me " he smirked

" You something else.. I gotta get going I love you " I said getting out of his arms

" I love you too! " he yelled

I jogged my way downstairs and was looking around for Jr

" Jr?! " I yelled

" Yes? " I heard him say softly

I walked into the kitchen and he was stirring around in his cinnamon toasted crunch with his head on his hand as I saw a tear slip away

My heart ached.

" Who cereal is this? " I asked pointing to another bowl of it

" It's yours.. I was hoping you could be able to eat breakfast with me but you gotta go.. So I'll just ask dad if he wants it.. " he said sadly

" Aw Jr.. come here " I said

He put the spoon down and stood up on the chair as I went over and picked him up

He started sobbing quietly in my shirt and I teared up

" I don't want you to go mama " he said into my shirt

" I know.. I know. I'll be back before you even know it " I said rubbing his back

I heard him sniffling and then he sat up wiping his eyes

" Well I packed you a lunch.. You better eat it " he said

I smiled

Still mean.

" I will.. " I said setting him down and grabbing the bag

He smiled

" Thank you " I said

" Your welcome.. Have a good day at work " he said slipping down and walking to the door with me

" I will.. Have fun with ya father. I love you " I said about to walk out

" I love you more " he cheesed

I bent down and kissed his cheeks and forehead then walked out to the car

Getting inside I started the car and plugged up the aux to my phone

As I backed out Jr was waving me bye

I waved back at him blowing a kiss and he did so also then I drove off
