The kids came out the door as I stood there waiting for them

J'liyah was biting on her lip and Jr was frowning

I opened the car door for them

One of the ladies who watches them come up to me

" How were they today? " I asked

" Horrible... Jr he was being disrespectful. And he stole another kid's snack and J'liyah she was just.. outta control. She bit a kid... I tried to tell her not to do it again or I'll call you guys but then she tore up the whole daycare " she said

I looked back at them

" You sure? That don't sound like my kids " I said

" Positive ma'am... They can't be doing that or were gonna have to press charges. " she said

I scrunched up my face

" H- Okay.. They gonna come back with a good attitude tomorrow " I said

She nodded

" Thank you for understanding " she said

I nodded and opened the door getting in

" Are y'all all scrapped up? " I asked

" Yeah " J'liyah said

" Jr? " I asked

" Yes ma'am.... " he said quietly

I then turned back around

Lucas started driving

" Did y'all have fun today? " Lucas asked

" I guess " J'liyah said 

" Whatchu mean? " he asked

" They were acting up today " I said

" Oh... really? Hmm " Lucas said

" No we weren't " J'liyah said

" Jr? " Lucas asked

He didn't say anything

I glanced back at him again and he was looking out the window

" Jr... Did you hear ya daddy? " I asked

" Yeah... Do you got my iPad mama? " he asked

" Your not gonna get it back for awhile until you learn how to act... We don't send y'all to them people daycare to tear stuff up and try to rule it " I said

" Y'all don't rule shit at home and at the daycare y'all won't either " Lucas said

I looked at him and gave him a look

He shook his head

" Jr... You should know better.. Your the oldest. Your suppose to set a example for J'liyah, not show her the wrong things " I said

" But mama I didn't do anything! " he yelled looking at me

I drew my head back

He lost his mind yelling.

" Who are you yelling at? " I asked

" I didn't mean to yell... Y'all just... won't listen to us... " he said

" Yeah mommy... we didn't do anything " J'liyah added

" J'liyah speak when your spoke to " Lucas said

" But daddy... " she said

" But daddy nothing... J'liyah hush " he said

She looked at him heartbroken then grabbed her blanket throwing it over her head then I heard soft sniffles

I turned back around and shook my head

" No dessert tonight either " Lucas added on

I heard Jr groan

" Is it a problem Lucas? " Lucas asked

Whenever Lucas says Jr real name I know things about to get serious

" No " he said harshly

" Ion give a fuck if you my son... I'll fuck you up in this bitch " he said sternly

I hit his arm

He looked at me

" Don't " I said

" Stop tryna baby him... He is not about to be having no attitudes like a bitch " he said

I shook my head and rubbed my temples

Glancing back at Jr he was wiping his eyes from the tears that were falling down.

I sigh and lean against the window.
