Hope you enjoy...

"4 more weeks my precious." Jughead sang in Betty's ear as she woke up next to him.
"I can't believe I'm 8 weeks already"
"Me neither." He said as he patted her stomach. "Come on then we got school." He said as he got up and stretched. Betty walked in the bathroom and looked in the mirror. Her stomach was slightly swollen, hardly noticeable to anyone but she had been keeping track of her stomach and knew it had gotten slightly bigger.
"Jug!" She squealed running into the kitchen.
"Woah, what's up?"
"Look." She said showing him the stomach, he had also been capturing the sight of her stomach and noticed straight away.
His eyes widened and he gasped.
"Oh my gosh, look at you." He smiled and pulled her into a hug. She threw on one of Jughead's sweaters and a pair of blue jeans and gathered herself up for school.
"Betty remember, do not tell anyone. This is our little secret." He said and held her stomach.
"Yes, I know. But Jug, my hormones are already getting bad. So what do I do if I get moody or emotional."
"Say you're tired." He said as they left the trailer.
"Yeah Ok I guess that would work.." She said

"What's up Jones. Coops." Sweet Pea said as they met Sweet Pea, Fangs and Toni as usual.
"Not much, you." Jughead replied fist bumping Fangs and Sweet Pea. Jughead and Betty parted as she went to talk to Toni and he stayed talking to Sweet Pea and Fangs.
"Hey Toni. What have you been up to." She smiled.
"Nothing, just been hanging out with Cher. Now where have you been, it's been a week since you came to school." Toni asked.
"Yeah, I was really ill last week." Betty lied, well she was sick but only morning sickness.
"And you are sure that test was negative?"
"Yes Toni. What are you a detective?"
The girls heard the boys in front of them talking and it was pretty much the same thing.
"Where has Betty been then." Fangs asked.
"Just sick. She is better now."
"Are you sure, I mean she's been sick for awhile." Sweet Pea actually looked concerned.
"Yes, it was just a really bad virus." They both felt so bad about lying to them but it was for the best.

When they arrived at school, they sat in the normal space in the student lounge- all 7 of them.
"Cousin Betty, you're back. I was getting worried." Cheryl said as she walked in and hugged Betty from behind. It was then just the 8 of them, happy as can be, best friends.
"So guys, it's still quite far away, but prom. I can see Cheryl rocking red, Toni a purple princess and Betty perfect in pink?" He guessed. They all nodded because Betty was planning to still go to prom.
"Sweet Pea any girls catch you eye, Archie any girls for you as well?"
"Well I've been flirting with Valerie Brown while rehearsing so I might ask her." Archie chimed in.
"Not for me I'm a lone wolf" Sweet Pea said.
"Sounds like me before I found my soulmate." Jughead said and he pulled Betty close and kissed her forehead.
"Aww Babe." She said and pecked him on the lips.
"You two are so cute. I expect you'll be the first ones to get married and have kids after college." Kevin said smiling.
"After college yeah." She said and hid her real feelings as much as possible. "We wouldn't want them any sooner." She fake laughed but no one caught on. Even the word baby set her off so it was so hard for her not to cry, with no reason at all.

The bell rang and Jughead ran after Betty.
"Babe, are you ok? I know they were saying after college, but they're just saying that because they don't know." He said and carried her books and bag for her.
"I know, and I'm not even upset about it it's just anything can make me cry at the moment, talking about kids, being hungry, being tired- you." She laughed and took her things from him because she was outside her class.
"Me?"
"Your smile, your eyes, just your beautiful face in general makes me want to cry, when you say sweet things, when you talk about the baby." He laughed and handed her the last book he was holding.  "Thank you babe." She said and kissed him.
"Later beautiful." He said and wandered off into the wave of people.
