Betty looked at Veronica confused, she made it look like Betty was going to be asked.
"Dare." Jughead said as he stroked Betty's hand. "Don't worry, it'll be fine." He whispered in her ear.
"I dare you too...kiss me, in front of everyone, your friends, your Girlfriend- although after this I'm pretty sure you'll change your mind on who you want your girlfriend to be..." She said laughing.
"Screw you, I'm not doing that. You have a boyfriend. I have a girlfriend."
"Oh that's where your wrong Jughead Jones, he's not my boyfriend. He is only good at one thing, and that one thing is something between only me and him." She winked but Archie's face dropped behind her, "He would be more than happy to see this." She grabbed Jughead's hand, making Betty nearly fall but luckily Kevin and Sweet Pea caught her, and stood in the middle of the room. She grabbed his neck and pulled him down to kiss him. She closed her eyes and brushed through his hair, looking like it was the time of her life. Jughead on the other hand, he kept his eyes open, you could literally see the frown on his face and he just stood there not kissing back, Betty and the rest of the gang laughed under their breath at his reaction. Veronica finally let him go and said "Now who do you want to be your girlfriend." She lay a hand on his chest and smiled. He removed her hand from his chest and grabbed a hold of Betty's waist.
"Easy: Betty, I'm in love with her." He sat down and took Betty with him. He kissed her cheek as she sat on him giggling. Veronica scoffed.
"Anyway, my turn. Veronica truth or dare." He said.
"Truth."
"I have held my anger in for a long time for what you did. The pain that you caused was unacceptable. Now everyone will know." Betty could feel his palms sweating and his chest beating. She kissed his hands as a sign of support.
"What?" Veronica was confused.
"Tell everybody the truth Veronica. Did you try to nearly kill my girlfriend at sweet water river about 2 months ago." He said as he squeezed Betty tighter. All eyes were on Veronica she gulped and nervously laughed.
"What! No-that's not-No of course not." You could tell She was lying.
"Everyone listen up: does anyone remember when Betty went to hospital two months ago and came into school with a cut in her face and a bruised eye, no one knew why right? Well I'm telling you now that Veronica Lodge would do anything for revenge. Maybe Josie, Veronica's best friend, would like to answer instead. What were you two doing at sweet water river the day Betty was taken in to hospital?" Jughead was angry. He knew he could break Josie so that's exactly what he did.
"We- I kept telling her to stop, I did but she wouldn't. She kept kicking her and hitting her and scratching her. I kept thinking to run away but I couldn't, I was frozen. Veronica is the reason why Betty went to hospital. I'm so sorry Betty, I hate you Veronica, you are a horrible person ." Josie cried.
"You snake." Veronica stormed out of the party quickly followed by Archie who was also upset.

Betty moved herself over so she was still sat on Jughead but was facing him, her legs was pressed against each of his hips. She stroked his hair delicately and smiled.
"Baby you didn't have to do that."
"Of course I did, someone had to expose her."
"Well thank you." She kissed him passionately their tongues met again.
"Guys?" Toni scoffed but she laughed about it. As they parted he bit her lip and dragged it down.
"To be continued my love...." She rested her head in the crook of his neck and he wrapped his arms around her.
"Wow that was interesting. I can't believe you did that Jug." Fangs slapped him on the back.
"Well I'm sick of her, hurting everything she touches, especially my beautiful princess. She needed a lesson."
"Well she definitely was knocked down a peg. I think she's lost all her friends, including Archie. Look"
They could see outside and Veronica was throwing herself on Archie and he kept pushing her off. They glanced though the window a few times which was strange, but the group didn't think anything of it.
He looked really upset, as he came back in and sat on a stool close to the gang and just bent his head down in despair.
"I'm sorry Betty." They heard him say. Betty cocked her head up and looked at him. She was quite floppy and tired so she told Jughead to help her over to him. Jughead put his arm around her and steered her in the right direction, he pulled up a stool next to Archie and sat on it, he pulled Betty closer and she stood in between his legs. He ran his fingers up her bare sides, from where the dress was cut out.
"Sorry for what." She knew exactly what but she needed to hear it from him.
"Everything. For calling you a hooker, a slut. Turning against you. Last year when you stopped talking to me, I had lost you forever. And it really hurt, I thought she loved me. But it was all a game. She has only ever been in love with one person, I thought it was me but it's you Jug. Betty she is jealous of you and expresses that in a horrible way. I found that out tonight when she said she is only with me for sex." He groaned.
Betty felt so bad seeing him like this.
"Archie I'm not going to lie when I say this: I hate you for what you did to me, no matter what the circumstances should you ever treat anyone like that. But I do feel for you." She said and patted his shoulder.
"Yeah Arch what you did was horrible,
but maybe we could be friends with you."
"Thanks Guys. It hurt. Everything she said." Betty hugged Archie and Jughead did too.
"Betty can we walk to school together again. Have you been dodging me at your house because we literally live right next door to each other."
"No I moved."
"But your parents are still there and apparently you have a brother?"
"Yeah it's complicated, but I moved out."
"Oh where about so I could probably still meet you?"
"I live on the south side now, in Jughead's trailer." She smiled.
"Oh that's fine then, never mind."
"Sorry Arch."
"Don't worry, now let's enjoy this party."
They danced all night together. She was so happy Archie and her were friends again. They were all friends again and it was the best night ever. Jughead and Betty danced together. He buried his face in her neck and kissed it while wrapping his arms around her waist. They moved to the beat, his kisses got more and more intense until they met her lips. Their bodies, in the middle of the dance floor, pressed against each other as they made out there and then.
"Come on let's go." He whispered in her ear and bit it softly afterwards. He picked her up bridal style and walked her home.
