~Chapter 13~

It was the morning of prom and Betty Cooper woke up to a Jughead Jones hugging her tightly.
"Morning, handsome." She sang and tickled his side. He wriggled around as she  tickled him and pulled her over so she was sat on his chest.
"Morning beautiful now let's go back to sleep." He  tried to pull her down but it was a struggle as the bump got in the way. "Hang on, let me lie on the side." She moved around and led next to him, with her legs swung over his, he wrapped his arms around her  and they lay down for awhile. The baby was starting to kick quite a bit at that point in the pregnancy and during the cuddle kicked quite a bit.
"Someone's hungry." Betty said and got up out of bed and headed to the kitchen.
She looked in the fridge when two arms wrapped around her waist. 
"Only a few more hours.." He said stroking her stomach, in a few hours they would finally get to know whether there baby was a girl or a boy.

Everyone had the whole day off school to get ready for prom. It stared at 5:30pm and carried on until 8:00pm
"Babe, it's 10:00 prom doesn't start for another 7 hours, so what do you want to do." He said.
"I don't know, but I do know that we need to leave here at about 5:00 . Also remember you said you want to face time you're parents and sister." Betty said climbing next to him on the couch.

Later that day around 3:00 Betty started getting ready.
She sat at the little vanity table she had put up in their room and started getting her  makeup ready.

Betty's POV

First, I did the normal foundation, concealer, powder routine then I contoured my face with a light brown powder and my cheeks and jawline popped. I put a little blush on my cheeks to give me a bit of colour, then I put a highlighter on the bridge of my nose and the top of my cheekbones. After that I moved onto to my eyes, first  I  filled in my brows using a brown pencil giving them a natural yet sharp neat look. Then I started my eyeshadow: I started with a nude cream coloured pigment on the base of my eyelids, then I swept shimmery light pink shadow all over the eyelid. I stroked eyeliner across my lash line and gave it a little flick at the end. I brushed mascara up my eyelids giving them lots of length and volume.

Next was hair:
I pulled my blonde locks out of the elastic hair tie and brushed it gently. I picked up my hair curlers and began curling each strand of hair. I shook the curls out a little bit giving me amazing bouncy beach waves.

I went in the closet and pulled my dress out. I unzipped it from the bag and slid into it.

Back to third person POV

"Jug, come and get your suit on so we can face time your family." She called. He burst through the door and when he saw the beautiful girl his eyes shone.
"You look amazing, baby." He said and hugged her "I would kiss you but I don't want to ruin your makeup." He said taking her hand and kissing it romantically.
He got changed into his suit and took his beanie off. He looked in the mirror and flipped his hair to the side.
"Done." He said.
He picked up his phone and called his dad on face time.

Betty's POV

"Hey Jug, you look amazing." His mom said through the screen.
"You haven't seen Betty yet, that is what I call amazing." Jughead smiled.
"Show us. Show us." Jellybean giggled.
He flipped the camera around and showed them me, so they could see the whole dress.
"Oh my god you look beautiful sweetheart, and that bump is getting big." His mom said.
"Betty you look great!" FP cheered.
"If you don't mind we're gonna have to go. We will call you a little later after we have done the gender reveal to tell you." Jughead said.
"Sounds great, now go and have a good time!!" Fp said and hung up the phone.
