I woke up at about two thirty in the morning on the hill that we came to for our date. But instead of the healthy, luscious grass that had been under us, there was now a giant ripple-like circle of dead and blackened grass. On the trees around us sprouted deep blood red roses that had golden shatter-like lines on them, making them look almost evil, gray decaying trees, black and white butterflies flying around the trees and flowers and ourselves and trailing dark purple sparkles behind them. I rubbed my eyes and looked down at myself. I looked like I'd been working in a coal mine for the past twenty years. I wanted to be able to see what my face looked like though, so my eyes turned orange and I stuck my hand out as the energy current followed it. My hand started vibrating and came to an abrupt stop when a hand-held mirror formed within my fist. I held the mirror to my face and i looked even worse than i thought. My hair was all types of fucked up and i had dirt and grass stains on it. I sighed and looked back at my boyfriend and smiled. He's looked so cute laying there. Like a little ocelot cuddling in his mothers warmth. I looked up and realized that there was a big dome of energy around us. It was foggy and moved like mist, radiant with its black swirls. I then stood up and walked out of the bubble, making it ripple, and sat on the ledge of the hill top, looking at the stars. It was so quiet and serene. I saw fireflies blaze and the grass sway in the ever so delicate grass, which was regular colored. Everything outside of that bubble was normal. I layed down with my back to the grass and my feet dangling off of the hill. I let them swing back and forth, side to side. It was amazing to be laying out here. Then I got a sudden taste of sea salt on my tongue. I looked down the hill and to the lake. Emphasis on the LAKE part. I got confused for a second because of the smell and taste of the ocean, but at the moment, nothing mattered to me. Just the beauty of the flora surrounding me. I thought for a second that I forgot to ask Hunter what was wrong.

"Hey Hunt, sorry about earlier. I was doing something." I said to him telepathically. "You awake?"

"Yea."

"Good. You okay? What happened last night?"

"Nothing. Its all good." He said. I could tell he was keeping something from me.

"Hunter, if it was nothing then you wouldn't have said anything."

"I technically DIDN'T say anything." He said. "I thought it."

"Hunter stop being a smart ass and avoiding the subject."

"What, you mean like you did last night?" He said spitefully.

"I didnt..." My face got red and hot, so I grabbed the necklace and it poured red mist through the spaces between my fingers. And just like that, he was sitting next to me on the ledge of the drop off. He spun his head around in shock and confusion. Then he looked at me.

"I didnt mean to give you attitude, okay? I was... doing something important." I said. He looked behind him and into the bubble of energy and saw Mitchell.

"As in having sex?" He said.

"Hunter... I..."

"You could've just fucking told me."

"I didnt wanna make you upset..." I felt like a dick.

"Why would you kiss me when you were gonna fuck someone right after it?"

"I didnt know we were gonna have sex." My face got even redder.

"Yeah. But you had a feeling. Because if you didnt then you wouldnt feel the way you do right now. Parabatai, remember?" He said, grudgingly. I couldnt say anything because he was right. "Thanks for leading me on."
