I woke up next morning when my alarm went off at seven. Instantly events of last night came to my mind and I shot out of my bed to get ready and check on the stranger. I went straight to the small bathroom in my room and brushed my teeth and then took a quick shower. I got dressed in my work clothes which was a mini skirt styled red and white dress of a waitress. I worked in a small yet a famous cafe just two streets down the lane. It was Biba's Cafe and I was a popular waitress though the pay was not much and I worked only for five hours a day. I have my college classes after that and another job of a sales girl at a small shop of gift items to go to from there. These two jobs helped me to pay my first semester fees after saving money for six months, I finally got myself enrolled. This has been my life for the past few years since my father died in an accident, leaving me behind to fight and survive on my own.

When I went out in the living room I looked around for the mystery man but he was nowhere to be seen. How could he just get up and leave like that, who am I kidding he definitely can. He was an arrogant man who does not know the meaning of courtesy, huff. But who was he? Was he just a passerby who needed a place to stay the night, or was there a deeper meaning behind his stay. It feels like I will see him again very soon. But how? He was gone wasn't he? I pushed these thoughts away and left for work.

I reached the cafe and went straight to the kitchen, instantly Biba saw me and handed me a plate of pancakes to eat. She always gave me breakfast, she was the best employer. She helped me a lot, she was a woman in her late forties with blond hair which reaches her shoulders. She was beautiful in her age and very kind, I loved working for her.

After breakfast I wore my apron and began my work. I went to a table where two young guys were sitting. The guy in yellow T- shirt, black hair and blue eyes looked up at me and gave me a lopsided smile while the othe one in a blue black striped T-shirt with brown hair and black eyes just stared at me strangely. I cleared my throat and politely asked, " May I take your order please". The blue eyed boy replied "May I have a chocolate shake with a blueberry cake for myself and a strawberry cake and a black coffee for my friend, please".

I smiled politely " coming right up" . I placed the order and went to other occupied tables. The whole while I worked I could feel the black eyes of the guy on me. Biba called me to when the order of the two guys was ready, I went to their table and placed their drinks and snacks in front of them.

Without a single word I went on my way to serve other customers. After some time I saw both the guys quietly get up,pay on the cash counter and put a reasonable tip in the tip box and leave. Why was he staring me like a creep?

I shrugged the thought off and went on my way.

After working nonstop for five hours I went and prepared to leave for my college. Biba packed me a sandwich, I thanked her politely and hurried to catch my bus.

As soon as I stepped out of the bus ready to entrer the University gates "Avaaa..aa, Avaaa..aa" I heard my best and only friend Amanda call out for me. Damn you can never keep Amanda quiet. She is a beautiful girl with long wavy dark brown hair and black eyes.

"Hey Amanda, what's up?

"Nothing sweetheart, I just missed you soo much".

"God girl, stop cover reacting we saw each other just before the weekend".

"Ya, but I still missed you. Anyways I went to the movies with Kevin on Saturday, it was soo much fun he is a great guy".

"Who is Kevin?" I have never heard about him before.

"He is my new boyfriend". Of course I should have never asked, she has a new one every week. I gave her a close mouthed smile while she kept blabbering about how good of a gentleman Kevin is. We reached our literature class and took our seats. The teacher came in and started teaching Romeo and Juliet mu favourite drama. I loved the fact that how two people loved each other so much to die for their love, I wished someone would love me as much some day. I was brought out of my thoughts when Amanda nudged me and pointed towards a guy "that is Kevin, he is so handsome".

I kept staring at him he was the same blue eyed guy from the cafe, what was he doing here . He looked up at me and gave me a smile, I was creeped out was he following me or is this just a coincidence. I gulped hard and looked away staring at the teacher.

The bell rang and Amanda went straight towards the guy and hugged him. She looked up at me and waved for me to come over, I slowly walked towards them. Amanda pulled me forward and said "this is Ava my bestie, and Ava this is Kevin my boyfriend". He brought his hand forward to shake, I slowly put my hand into his and he gave me a lopsided smile. I siled back at him "hey".

"Hey, so we meet again".

Amanda looked at us in confusion " agaaiinnn" she dragged the word.

"Yup sweety, we met at the cafe earlier today.

"Oh so both of you already met, great now I want you two to get along and be friend, okay?

Kevin gave her mock salute and she giggled. I excused myself and went to my locker to get my books for the next class. God Amanda was lovey-Dover today, but I don't know how long will this last, I sighed and went on my way to my next class.

The rest of the college hour went by quickly and I prepared myself to work again at the shop. I was about to leave when I heard Kevin call my name "hey where are you going in such a hurry ?" I looked at him for a whole minute before answering his question "I work at a small gift shop near my house, and I have to leave fast or I will be late".

"I can drop you, I live near your place Amanda told me that I can drop you everyday, now c'mon we don't wanna be late right". He started moving towards his car without waiting for my answer. He drove a Mercedes! Wow someone was rich here. He opened the passenger door for me and i got in. After closing my door he went to the drivers side and started the engine putting the car into drive. We drove silently for a while before he asked "so, you work really hard, huh".

I hesitated for a moment before answering "umm yeah I have to pay my bills on my own and then there is college fees I save for. Now everyone is not as rich". He just smiled at me but did not say anything. The rest of the journey went by quickly ranking about Amanda and her cheerleading passion and talent. She had to stay after college everyday to practice.

I reached the shop and thanked Kevin for the drive. I went into the shop and waved at a few of my colleagues. They waved back and said Hi's and hellos. I worked hard attending and assisting customers. I had to be on my feet at all times but the pay here was good so I did it anyways.

After work I went home which was just five minutes walk away. I cooked some dinner and sat down in front of my old TV to eat while watching the Big Bang theory. Till the time I was ready for sleep it was already 10 o'clock. I My mind drifted back to Kevin he wasn't that bad, in fact he was nice. His friend from the was a creep though. I closed my eyes, and a pair of golden flashed in front of me. I shot my eyes open and breathed heavy. Why was the mystery man in my mind, I am sure not going to see him again. With this thought I slowly closed my eyes again and drifted to sleep
