Lafayette pov

I woke up in bed I was about to get out when I felt two arm's wrapped around my waist. It was James, I didn't want to wake him so I slowly unknotted myself from he's arm's to find my phone has around 32 message's from James, Thomas and George.

They where all asking if I was okay.
So when I answered there question 'is laff alive' they freaked out

Baguette: ya I'm alive and well.

Thomas tank-engine: omg laff are you okay!!!

Baguette: I just said I'm fine...

Washing machine: Laff are you sure your okay?

Baguette: ya I stayed the night at James's place.

Washing machine: aw you didn't tell us you two where having a sleepover.

Jem: laff didn't stay at my place....

Baguette: No I mean Reynolds

Thomas tank-engine: YOU STAYED AT JAMES REYNOLDS HOUSE, Lafayette reynolds is s bad person.

Buguette: oh look at that you and Alex agree on something!

Thomas tank-engine: ya we both think he's a horrible person.....

Baguette: No you both agree that trying to ruin my love life is a good IDEA!!!

I can't believe them why dose everyone say that he's a bad person. We he wake's up I have to ask him about it.
-----time skip to James waking up-----
I lay in the bed with James. When he started to wake up I pretended to be asleep. He kissed my forehead and slipped out of the bed and left the room.

A minute or two I got out and made my way into the kitchen where James was making food  "Matin" I mumbled sleepily "You know I have know clue what you just said" he giggled. He's laugh was so cute "it means morning" I explained "so what are you making" I asked.

"Oh just some breakfast, don't worry I didn't get covered in flower this time" he smiled "oh ya laffy can I ask you something?" He seemed serious "ya I wanted to ask you something to, you first" I answered "when I took of your shirt I saw your arm's what's up with that?" He asked

"Oh I was just a really stupid kid" I laugh hoping he would by it "oh okay I thought you cit or something, stupid me, anyway what where you going to ask" he plated the food put it on the table and sat down. "Hercules, Alex and Thomas all say your not a good person to be around, why?" When I asked he sighed "let me explain"

James and me sat at the table and he explained to me why everyone thinks he's such a bad person.

"Before you, I was with this girl called Maria. She was a great person but....
She and I talked a lot less once she started to talk with Hercules. He was meant to be helping he design an outfit for a party she and I where going to. But she went to he's place nearly everyday and I felt like she was cheating on me. So I followed her to he's house. she kissed him at the door. I-I left after that I-I just" he started to sob.

I moved him to the sofa "shhhh shhhh, it's okay mon amour no need to keep going with the story" he hide he's face in my chest which muffled the sobbing. after holding him for a while I spoke "i have to go get my stuff I will be back soon" i started to get up when i was stopped by two arm's wrapping around my waist, James is taller then me so he lay he's head on my shoulder and whispered in my ear "please by careful.....I don't want to lose you to" he let go and sat back down "I'll be back soon!" I yelled before closing the door. I got to the front door and was about to open the door. I did still have the key. I was scared to open it what if herc was a bad person. Maybe i should get he's side of the story.
