Potions Class
"Mrs. Granger." Severus called out. Hernione sat up instantly and made eye contact with her professor. "Yes sir?" She hesitantly called out. "Do you know the answer?" He questioned her. "N-no sir, I don't." She said, turning a shade of red. "I take 5 points from Gryffindor for Mrs. Granger not paying attention." The Potions Master said without emotion. "I will like to see you at the end of the lesson." Hermione nodded and tried her best to focus the rest of class.
Once the class had ended, everyone walked out the room. Before Harry and Ron did, they wished her a sarcastic 'good luck'. The door shut and Hermione looked at Severus.
"Okay I'm sorry for not paying attention Severus. A ton has been happening and it's hard to keep up with it all." Hermione explained. "I know that Mia," He began. "But you have to focus and remain as the student you have been for all these years before somsone begins to be suspicious. Do you understand?" Hermione nodded and went back to packing her books. She was about to walk out before she stopped herself. She looked over to Severus to see what he was doing.
'Dare I ask?' She thought to herself.
"When is Draco supposed to kill Dumbledore?" Hermione flat out asked. Severus was a little taken back but the question and looked at her. He was hesitant before speaking, knowing that Hermione didn't know much about the plan.
"The assassination is to take place two weeks from now. From there, the deatheaters will conjure a dark mark into the sky to signify his death." Severus explained. "Why do you ask?" "No reason." Hermione blankly stated. "Thank you fro explaining, I best be off." She said in a rush. She closed the door behind her and headed to her next class.
'In two weeks time, my lover would be known as an assasin. The assasin who killed on of the greatest wizards in history.'
She still couldn't believe it.
