   Camden

Every morning was the same to me. I'd wake up from a strange dream, brush my teeth, relieved my bladder, and exercised. Nothing ever changes from the dull life of a multi-millionaire.

Now, I know what you're thinking. 'Life can't be all that bland with so much money!'. I, however, had no one to share this fortune with. My godparents refuse my money, my cat and horse are well pampered, and I donated quite heftily.

Nothing ever changes. Well, except breakfast. My stomach let out a low growl. I headed downstairs and was greeted with my family.

Clyde Demandante, my doctor and godfather. Lyra Demandante, my advisor and godmother. Life would not be the same without these two.

Clyde's gold eyes glanced up at me from his newspaper, and took a sip of his coffee. "Good morning, Camden. How do you feel?" I smiled. "Fine." I ran a hand through my hair. My favorite lie. I never feel fine. There's an empty gap in my memory, sleepless nights filled with a strange man, and pain. I wanted to know things about my own life. I wanted to know what my parents were like, what my life was like, everything has been locked from me.

My fork danced in syrup covered blueberry pancakes, one of my breakfast favorites. I smile warmly at them. In one of my many dreams, there's someone who made these for me with a warm and cheeky smile. I tucked into the pancake's warm and fluffy goodness. Man, imagine how much exercise I'm going to need after these! But god, it was worth it.

"Camden," Clyde called. "Do you have anything to do today?" I nodded. I'm currently taking over my father's company, Silver Corporation. We make silver things, like silverware, jewelry, décor, etc. It's been quite the headache! I'd be lost without my dad's old secretary, Jon. "Taking over dad's company is wearing me to the bone." I chuckled.

Clyde took a sip of his black coffee. "Yeah, Rem was a good man."

The dining room grew to an uncomfortable silence. I took one last final sip of milk, and headed out the door. "I'll see you later guys!" I shouted before closing the mahogany door. With a sigh, I turned to see my rolls Royce pull up, driven by Jon. Jon was a sweet old man, his brain just as sharp as his humor.

"Are you ready for a long day of work, Mr. Silver?" With a forced smile, I buckeled into the seat. "Yes."
