Just having him in my arms wasn't enough. I just wanted to fly home, and never leave.
Maybe even tie him to the bed so no one can take him from me?
I bit my bottom lip, my fang sinking into it. Camden stared at the dripping wound.
He leaned up, holding my jaw in his palm. He reached up, and lapped the blood from the wound.
I stared in shock as his lips and tongue turned red. "Sweet," he licked his lips.
"L-let's just go home." I blushed, looking for the special key Oliver gave to me.
He gave it to me, and told me to stick it in any door lock and turn it, thinking about where you want to go.
"I just want to home," Camden cried, pushing his head between my shoulder and my neck. "I just want to lay in bed with you and Cornflower!"
I chuckled at his antics, wrapping him in my jacket. I kissed his forehead.
"God I missed you." I whispered in his hair. "You and your weird hair." He smiled.
He grinned wildly, grabbing me by the collar and tugging me down for a kiss.
"You're mine." He whispered, slowly releasing the collar of my shirt.
The key was about the length of my pinky finger, and as thick as a two-by-two Lego.
I stuck it in the door of Alex's manor, and turned the knob. Camden scoffed.
"How's that supposed to work? Its not like magic is real or anythi--holy crap!"
He squirmed out of my arms until he managed to slide out of my arms, and stared at the door opening, revealing the entrance of his estate.
He turned around to me, and chuckled. "I'm so glad you exposed me to all this supernatural junk. It feels like a whole new world!"
I beamed at his enthusiasm. "You're so cute."
He blushed, shutting up immediately. "Y-you really think so?"
I nodded at him, and he hid his face in his hands. "What did I do to deserve you?" He muttered. "God, I'm crying."
I engulfed him in my arms. "I ask myself the same question every day." He wrapped his arms tight around me, squishing my old bones.
He ran excitedly into our home, pulling me in with him. He touched everything, me, the walls, the furniture, the paintings. It was like he was in a whole new world.
"Aw, it's just how we left it!" He smiled.
Cornflower got up from his bed, and stretched. Then he opened his eyes.
He mewed at Camden, jumping on his shoulder and head bumping him.
Camden threw his head back and laughed, before bumping his head back.
I crossed my arms over my chest, propping myself against the wall.
This, this is perfect. I smiled. This is all I ever wanted.
