  Camden
"Alex." I whimpered. "Alex!" I cried in his arms. "Shh, shh. I've got you." I let out a shaky breath, and blinked away a tear. "A-Alex, don't you have work? What would your boss say?" He smiled.  "I own the place. I bartend because I haven't found a trust worthy one yet, and it gives me a 360 view of the club, for safety reasons...yet..."
"I couldn't have helped you. What if he's done this to other patrons? Hell, do I need to install cameras in the restrooms?" I raised a brow.
"I'm pretty sure that's illegal." He sighed. "I guess you're right. I'm going to take you home now, alright?" I nodded. He carried me to his car, and gingerly sat me in the passenger seat.
The ride was silent as I stared out at the city lights, the inky darkness of the light contrasting the streetlights and cars brilliantly.
Clyde and Lyra waited for me on the porch. Alex lifted me again, and dropped me in Clyde's arms. His golden eyes were filled with remorse. "Camden, are you okay?" I licked my lips. "A-a little. A bit shaken, truthfully." Lyra pecked my forehead. "Alex, stay the night. Driving this late isn't safe." He grinned.
"Stay with me, Alex." I whispered, releasing myself from the coddlers up to my room. I changed into pajamas in the bathroom, and greeted an almost asleep Alex. The sight made me yawn, and I joined him in my bed. "Goodnight," I mumbled, closing my eyes.
A distant flushing noise woke me, as i listened to Alex saunter back in from the bathroom. He stared at my fake sleeping form, before leaning over me.
"Camden," the hot breath that usually excites me brought nothing but chills. "If only you were mine. Those indescribable nights--" he purred, making me shiver. "I'd never been so full in my life. You are such a beautiful rarity, any incubus would keel to have you. Hell, I bet some would confuse you for one." His laughing became bitter
"That damn vampire, ruining everything. Because of him, you're such in the past. If only... if only things were different." He pecked my forehead.
"If I ever see him, I'll kill him. Then we can be together. " he played with my fingers. He chuckled. "Good thing you can't hear me, little dhampir.  It ne a shame to have you running back to him. We belong together." He placed my hand on his bare chest.
Our legs tangled together, and he hugged me close.  "Goodnight, Camden." His light snores allowed my eyes to pop open in fear.
Vampire?
Incubus?
Dhampir?
  What's happening to my life?
