Tell me what you know. (Really Really Short Sorry)

We have been sitting in the Alphas office for at least ten minutes although it could be twenty and still no one has said anything. I start to fidget, David looks at me and it almost looks like he is worried but I can’t be sure. The Alpha is sitting at his desk he is looking at me like I’m some kind of science experiment. He looks impressed and not at all worried that the person who held him almost hostage is now sitting in his office after being kidnapped by his son. However it’s the lady in the corner who has me worried the most, she is the motherly looking lady from before who looked like she wanted to kill me, I’m pretty sure she is connected to the Alpha which means she is probably David’s mom. However instead of looking at me with hate like I thought she would she looks apologetic and almost happy to see me back. I make sure I can see her at all times even if it’s just out of the corner of my eye. The alpha clears his throat drawing everyone’s attention to him and he seems to sit up straighter as if he is trying to appear more impressive. I just cock an eye brow and stare him like I was asking him what he thought was so important. David nudges me like he was telling me to stop and I have to fight my instincts that are telling me to reach around and deck him.

“We need to know what you know.” I just look at the Alpha with a blank stare; everyone is watching me like they expect me to break out into song and dance.

“Well I know that 4+4 is 8, and that if you put something in the microwave it get warmer and,” I’m cut off by a frustrated growl but I don’t know who did it. The Alpha and David both send glares behind me at whoever growled. I smirk but quickly hide it before they look at me again. The Alpha looks at me again, his eyes hold admiration which pisses me off because I’m purposely trying to make him mad but he refuses to bite.

“We need to know what you know about wolves, in order to keep you safe we have to know. Otherwise bad things will happen to both you and your father.” My eyes snap to his and fury floods threw me.

“Are you threatening me? Because that would be very very bad for you.” My body starts to shake, the alpha looks a little confused before he quickly starts to reassure me.

“Of course not, I just want you to know that it is a possibility that things could easily go wrong, something could happen and we wouldn’t want you or your father to be caught in the backlash.” This time it’s me that lets out a growl. Everyone in the room looks surprised except the alpha, he looks like he has just solved some complicated puzzle, he looks like he knows my every secret and I don’t like it. I slowly stand and no one goes to stop me, I lean on the desk trying to rain in my anger but being unsuccessful.

“You leave me and my family alone, we have done nothing to you, leave us out of your messed up will pack and freaky shifting thing.” I turn and walk out of the office, no one stops me and I have a sinking suspicion their alpha told them not to, he looks like he doesn’t lose very often and I feel like he knows more then he’s letting on. And I don’t like it.
