After that kiss with Ansel, I haven't heard from him. It's been three weeks, and later tonight him and I have an Interview for The Fault In Our Stars...and I was nervous, not for the interview, but because i'll be facing Ansel and we'll have to act like nothing happened.
I had to be there by 5:30. I hurried up and got a shower, thankfully for my short hair, I was able to dry it quickly. I got changed and put my makeup on, then headed out.
When I got there I saw Ansel...He looked so handsome, I know he saw me...but he didn't do anything. I tried not to act hurt, but I don't think I was doing a great job.
I sat down next to him where he didn't even talk to me. I looked around....hoping he would say something.
Our Interviewer, Jane Roddick came over and sat down, Ansel looked up as they started filming.
"Hello everyone, I am here with the famous and talented Ansel Elgort and Shailene Woodley from The Fault In Our Stars, how are you two today?"
Ansel was the first to speak, "Thank you for having us, and i'm grand, I'm on a rollercoaster that only goes up my friend." he smirked using a quote from the book. I laughed. "I'm great, thanks!"
Jane smiled. She asked us questions and even know we answered together, my mind was in the clouds.
After the interview Ansel still didn't talk to me...which was extremely rude. When he was walking to his car I just couldn't handle my anger anymore.
"Hey! What the hell Ansel?!" I stood so I was right in front of him.
"What?" he asked confused.
"Oh, I don't know! the fact that you've ignored me the whole day!"
"I just haven't been in the mood to talk!"
"Well you talked to everyone else! why are you being such a jerk?"
"I'm not! maybe I just don't feel like talking to you anymore!" You couldn't hide the hurt on my face, I could tell the minute he said it he regretted it.
"Shai, I'm so-"
"Oh I'll stop you there. Look, if this is about the other night then you can forget it, okay? if you didn't like me, then you should have said that before you led me on and kissed me. Don't worry about me liking you anymore, I promise it was just a stupid mistake, and I won't tell anyone."
By the time I finished I had tears streaming down my face, I quickly wiped them away.
"Goodbye Ansel."
I turned around and walked away, I heard him calling my name, but I never stopped, I just got in my car and drove off crying.
