Shansel...love?

(Shai's POV.)

I have to say, the best part of waking up is seeing Ansel's sleeping face cuddled into me. You honestly have no clue how cute this boy is.

When I woke up this morning, I was greeted with Ansel's adorable face sleeping on my shoulder, and his arms protectively around my stomach. I could already tell he was going to be an amazing father, I was just worried about me becoming a mother.

I decided it was time to get up since we have a doctor's appointment today, but first, I have to figure a way to get out of my husband-to-be grip. I gently picked up his arms off of me as I untangled our legs.

I went to get up when I was yanked back down, I squealed as I heard Ansel's sexy laugh. He pulled me close and then whispered, "Where are you going?" I giggled and pushed him away.

"I am going to go make breakfast and then get ready for the doctors appointment today."

Ansel's face lit up as he sat up. "I can't wait for that!" I leaned over and kissed him softly. "Me either. So that's why you have to let me up." He pouted and stood up.

"Fine! but I'm getting in the shower. save so some food for me." He kissed my cheek and left. I rolled my eyes and went in the kitchen, then began making chocolate chip pancakes.

I could practically feel my mouth watering. I put two on the plate, and just when I was about to shove that piece of heaven into my watering mouth, the phone rang.

I groaned and stood up and walked over to it. "Hello?"

"hi baby girl!" I smiled at my dad's voice. "Hey daddy!"

"How are you?"

"Getting bigger." don't worry, I told both of my parents about my pregnancy.

"that's a good sign." I rolled my eyes.

"Im getting fat!"

"No, that just means the baby is healthy."

"Daddy what do you want?" I giggled.

"I want you and that fiancè of yours to come down and have dinner with me and your mother tomorrow night." That will be interesting, considering dad and Ansel have never met.

"Sure dad! what time?"

"6:30 good?" I checked our schedule real quick. "That's great!"

"Okay, see you then. love you!"

"Love you too, see you tomorrow dad." I hung up and practically ran back to the pancakes, and then pretty much devoured all of them. Ansel came out of the shower and saw the empty plate.

"You didn't save me any!"

"Im eating for two now! don't judge me." He glared playfully then chuckled. "Oh and by the way, we're having dinner with my parents tomorrow." Ansel paled, then took it like a man and nodded.

I looked at the clock and saw it was already one. then again Ansel and I slept till 11:30. "I have to get in the shower and get ready." I gave him a yogurt. "Eat a yogurt." I threw a spoon at him, it hit in in the forehead. "Ow!"

"Be back." I heard him mumbling as I ran to the shower.

I finished getting my makeup on as Ansel yelled we were going to be late if I didn't hurry. I ran out to him, "ready, let's go."

We practically sped to the doctors. As soon as we walked in the nurse said. "Shailene Woodley?"

"Here!" I said catching my breath as she took us to a small room and told me to sit on a tiny bed. I sat down and looked around, I hate doctor offices, but then I realized that I will be spending nine months here and Im just going to have to scratch my ass and get over it.

Ansel sat in a chair next to me and grabbed my hand as the doctor came in. "Shailene?"

"That's me." I said shyly. "You're here for an ultrasound sound and to hear your baby's heartbeat?" I nodded. I saw Ansel looking at the pregnancy pictures in horror.

The doctor pulled a little tv thing over, then looked at me. "you're around three weeks and that big already? interesting."

"thanks for pointing out my weight." I thought angrily. Ansel squeezed my hand and looked at me warningly. I sighed and gave the doctor a fake smile. "thanks."

He pulled up my shirt and grabbed some gel. "This might feel a bit cold." I nodded as he applied it on my stomach, I shivered. Ansel rubbed my hand softly and looked at screen as the doctor moved something around on my stomach.

Suddenly an image popped up on the screen, two of them actually.

Then I heard the most beautiful sound in the world. Two little heartbeats. I got tears in my eyes and looked at Ansel, who also had tears in his eyes.

"Well it seems you two are having twins. Ms. Woodley, that's the reason you are already so big at four months.(A/N, it is a fact that some people do not figure out they are pregnant until as long as five months in. Thats how long it took my mother to find out she was pregnant.)

I started crying with joy as Ansel kissed my head. The doctor gave us a recording of the heartbeats and the beautiful pictures of our babies.

Ansel took me home where I instantly fell asleep. My last thought was that I am the luckiest girl in the world.
