A couple of days have passed, and so far I've had 30 missed calls from Ansel, 15 texts from Ansel, 2 from my mom, and 1 from Theo. I'm just not in the mood for anyone. I decided to check one of my latest voicemail from Ansel.
"Shai, please answer the phone...im so sorry, I was having a rough day, I didn't mean anything I said! please! I miss your voice...I miss you Shailene."
I rolled my eyes, I was sitting in bed with a bowel of ice cream and tissues, perfect for a heartbreak. I heard a knock at the door, I sighed and got up.
What I didn't expect to see was Ansel at my door holding orange tulips.
"Shai..."
"What are you doing here?"
"I want to apologize, please forgive me.."
"Why should I?"
"Because I like you...I wasn't playing you. I truly do like you, you are beautiful, kind, sweet, funny...I like you so much. will you go out with me?"
I had to take a moment...I couldn't believe this was happening.
"Yes.." I felt myself whisper. Ansel grinned and hugged me.
"Can I come in?"
I nodded, he came in and I put the Tulips in a vase, I giggled since they were the same flowers Gus gave Hazel in the movie. I turned around and looked at him.
"Want to cuddle and watch movies with me?"
"It would be a pleasure."
I jumped in bed as he joined me and wrapped his arms around me. I looked up at him and connected our lips. Ansel licked her lips as I opened mine, I wrapped my arms around his neck, we kissed for a while then finally pulled away.
We watched many movies until finally I fell asleep in his arms, this was perfect.
