Chapter Seven·When I Hurt You
Thomas was left in his room with Alexander's journal. He flipped page through page before he found it. Everything for the Schuylers was planned already. He waited for midnight and stepped into the girls room. He convinced Maria to check on Madison and she fell asleep in his room. He grabbed Eliza first, being the lightest and heaviest sleeper.
She groaned before falling back into her deep sleep. Thomas sighed and found a path to avoid all the zombies. Once he made it, he strapped Eliza in. The three masks that remained haunted him. He would wait until he got the other two before finishing anything.
He went back for Angelica which was easier. She held onto him, thinking it was Burr. It broke Thomas' heart but he decided not to think about it. Once he finished Peggy was last. He carried her and thought this would be over soon but halfway through Peggy started moving and finally woke up. She saw that she was at the clock tower and saw her sisters. He layed Peggy down on the floor and when his back was turned she made a run for it. Thomas couldn't do anything to keep her. She just made it more difficult.
Peggy ran out just in time to find a tent. She sat next to the tree and made a plan out on the sand. She put her hair up and sighed wishing she knew why Thomas would do anything like this. "Hey." She heard someone say from behind her. "What are you doing out here?" Hercules asked Peggy. "I could ask you the same thing." "Thomas did something. We found a journal..." He said and handed peggy a small book with drawings and writing all around the pages. "But this is...Alexander made Thomas go through with his plan...this is to save Alex- thats why he was on a table!" Peggy said in realization.
"Wait..you said we." Herc nodded, "Washington is attacking from the front. Aaron told him about the clock tower and I wanted to attack from the back but they dismissed me." "We have to save them." "I know.." Was all Hercules could say.
