A magician is a practitioner of magic that has the ability to attain objectives or acquire knowledge (and, or) wisdom using supernatural means.
The paranormal kind of magician (unlike the stage illusionist) can also be referred to as an enchanter, wizard, mage, magus, or thaumaturgist. These overlapping terms may be distinguished by some traditions or some writers. When such distinctions are made, sorcerers are more often practitioners of evocations or black magic, and there may be variations on level and type of power associated with each name. (Via Wikipedia)
Story:
Heron:
I woke up, opening my eyes, I see myself on the couch, with a blanket on top of me. I must have fallen asleep while studying last night, and since I have no school today, I have the day all to myself. I sat up from my position, and glance upon my surroundings.
There I see my older brother sleeping on the other couch, tired. His uniform is messed up, his necktie is loose, the top two of his long-sleeved jacket is unbuttoned.
I sighed, a worried face runs through my figure. Why is he all worked up all the time?
You see, our parents were victims in the 9/11 attacks some of our relatives were happy to take us in, yet, from my brother's words... "I'll be the one raising Heron alone." And since then, we moved in here, in Ring Village with our grandparents, even though they were weak, they were the only ones we can trust.
But that didn't last long, even though we managed to live, our grandmother died from pneumonia, and my grandfather eventually got too old and fell sick, I was still in Stardust Elementary School since then.
My brother started to work, not having any free time to himself. Even so, him, working all night long just to keep us alive, at the same time still studying... will there be no solution for his pain and agony?
It's his last year at Moonlight Academy, yet if he graduates... will he stop studying anymore and start to work, for me? That question is what keeps myself at bay in helping him. I don't know if, he'll make it.
That's when I decided to take his place, it's the best I can do for him, I think. I took a bath and changed to my casual clothes. A buttoned blue shirt, a short sleeved dark green unzipped jacket, blue jeans and yellow rubber shoes.
After changing I carried my brother all the way to his room, it was hard, since he's heavy, but I managed to tuck him in bed.
I went out of the house, and decided to work for the day, that's the very least I can do, since I have nothing to do and I have to take care of my brother. I went to the convenience store at the end of Ring Village. There might be a market in town square but the convenience store is a whole different story.
Layla:
I was eating my breakfast, dad is nowhere to be seen, as well as my brother. "Hey mom? Where's Zeke?" I asked her while eating my toasted bread. "Oh he's in Ken's house for the day. Dad's at work doing a project so he'll be coming home late, and I have some bonding to do with Ms. Porter and two more moms..." She said playfully when the part where she has some bonding to do with moms.
Well I'm not surprised to see dad already doing a project, but my brother going to a friends house? Wow, he changed so quickly, but how and why? I chuckled the idea off of my head and completely ate my breakfast after while watching the news.
"Wait, that doesn't mean I have to watch the house does it?" Oh no, if she's going out, ugh, I'm left alone. Well that would be a worthwhile trademark for myself, having some time alone doing anything I want. "It does~" My mom sad happily and playfully.
