The Moon (Latin: Luna) is the Earth's only natural satellite. Although not the largest natural satellite in the Solar System, it is the largest relative to the size of the object it orbits (its primary) and, after Jupiter's satellite Io, it is the second densest satellite among those whose densities are known. A curtain (sometimes known as a drape, mainly in the United States) is a piece of cloth intended to block or obscure light, or drafts, or water in the case of a shower curtain. The word 'curtain' comes from Middle English cortine, from Old French, from Late Latin cortina and from Latin cors, cort-.
Story:
Layla:
It's a Sunday. June 15, 2014. The Rising Moon Curtain is tomorrow, Heron asked me to help him practice his card magic for tomorrow's performance, and of course I agreed.
After taking a bath and eating my breakfast, I wore a pink and violet striped mini skirt. With a yellow and orange colored blouse. I wore two inch heels and got my white purse.
When I went downstairs, my family reacted of how I am dressing for the day. My brother wide-eyed. My dad, jaw-dropped. My mom raised an eyebrow. I chuckled and smiled at them while I was still on the stairs. "W-what?" I asked.
I went down the stairs and from their faces, they kept on staring at me. "Where are you going dear?" Mom asked. "Yeah? Where are you going?" My brother asked like mom, wow he must be very curious in emphasizing where.
"Just to a friend’s house...” I said. I need to get away from them, my parents are crazy when I've been asked out, yet if my brother finds out... dun-dun-dun-duunnn. It'll be the end of me.
"To Reena's?" He asked once more to me. "Um... no, to a new friend's house!" I said. I walked to the door and waved at them. "Okay, bye!" I got out of the house and went to the streets quickly.
PHEW! That was a close one. My mom would do a crazy make-over to me if she finds out I'm going to a guy's house. And my dad would buy me perfect clothes as fast as he could, yet my brother would just give me a death glare.
Its 11:41, and my phone vibrated. It's from Heron, "Meet me in the town square." He said to me. I text back, "Sure. What are you wearing? So I could find and recognize you easily." I sent to him.
His text back after a few seconds, "A blue shirt with black jacket." I see. So all I need to find is a guy with a black jacket and I'll be fine.
I reached the town square, trying to find Heron. I can't see a guy with a black jacket. Still, the town square has so many people on a Sunday. Well, that's normal though.
Ugh, I bump to a stranger one after another, I got caught up in a crowd and can't escape. I closed my right eye, feeling the pain from every bump that hit me.
From that second, someone, or something grabbed my wrist. I closed my eyes as I got out of the crowd at the sudden second. My body collided with someone just a bit bigger than me. He or she is holding my wrist and the other on my back.
I looked up, wide-eyed seeing that dark blue hair. "Heron...?"
Heron:
I woke up, full of energy, YES! I sat up from bed and- wait! What's with this awkward realization? I'm like so excited about meeting up with Layla. What's with the "The air from my window is so fresh, and the sun is so bright and giving me energy..." Gah! Forget it... I sighed. It's 9:31 am.
I got off bed and left my room, heading downstairs to eat breakfast. I see my brother all suited up for his work... again. "There's already a cooked breakfast just on the table... a gratitude for taking care of me yesterday." He said to me, coldly and left.
