Story:

Layla:

"..... I want to know more... I'll set my feelings aside... and know the existence of the Arcanas... so... my answer is... yes. I want to reveal the secrets within the whole arcana deck." I said, confidently.

It may be too late, but, taking this task is a part of my life. I answered and everything lit up. I woke up...

I find myself in my bed, I look over at the clock and it's June 19, 2014, 6:28 am. I got off from my bed, yet, I felt something inside my pocket. It's an empty card, this must be The High Priestess.

Yet it's empty, just like the one of the magician before, just the frame on the sides. I put it inside my drawer like always.

My journey in making a bond with The Magician is over. It’s 6:32 am. June 19, 2014. I got off of bed, and went downstairs to do my daily morning routine.

After eating my breakfast, I took a bath. While taking a bath…

“You know… you are special… to me.” Heron said to me.

“But… is there really any chance?” I asked.

“If there is ever a time that I wouldn’t be without you… I’d rather sacrifice my own hour just to be by your side.” He replied.

“………..” I went silent.

I woke up to reality, I find myself in the bathtub, I wonder… if Heron remembers our friendship, or even the pendant I gave him. After cleaning myself, I got out of the bathroom and dressed up.

After clothing myself, I went downstairs as I got by bag and after checking my materials that is needed for the day.

Mom called out to me, while I just closed the door of my room. “Layla, Matsuzawa’s here to pick you up.” She said to me as I went down the stairs.

As I got out of the house, I see Misaki waiting for me, “Ohayou.” Oha-what? “It means ‘good morning’ in Japan.” She explained. Ah I see, so that’s how they greet in the morning.

“Well, good morning to you too.” I said as I smiled. “Where’s Reena?” I added up.

“She’s already at school, she’ll be coming to school early for her English Club issues.” Misaki relied as we started walking together.

“Oh, is that so? Well, it is nice that she has a responsibility worth doing.” I said.

“Well of course, she is the vice president of the club, so she has more duties than the president.” She replied.

After walking, we got to school. We said our goodbyes for now, until we meet at lunch.

I went inside my classroom, its 7:13 am. I see Reena in her seat, waving at me and I waved back.

I went to my seat beside her, and we greeted our good mornings to each other. “So… sorry about not telling you but, I’ve got English Club duties starting today until two weeks.” She said.

“Oh, it’s okay… Misaki and I went to school together.” I said. Well from the looks of her face it doesn’t seem like she’s mad at me, she’s very happy.
