Crown Prince Kaiza's POV

Cossete Yaslee... I first saw her when I was sneaking away from the emperor and ended up at the edge of the academy.

I don't know her exactly, but there's something about her that interests me... her eye and hair color.

Nothing can be hidden from my eyes. They say that the color black means you're rich in mana. But there's an even more terrifying secret behind it. It means death...

I immediately released my power when he approached Lady Cossete and shattered the barrier around her, but he was forced to step back when my blue flames blocked his path.

"You should go back now!"

"B-But—" And just like that, they vanished into thin air.

I woke up with a sharp pain in my neck because I slept on my stomach. The room was dark, but when I looked up, I saw a man with silver hair sitting in a chair beside my bed, fast asleep with his head bowed.
