Chapter - 4

Natasha~

Natasha was walking down the red carpet as the reporters were screaming at her. Her lavender gown hugged her curves perfectly and her crimson hair falls perfectly on her back.

She was kindly smiling back at them and wave at them, posing for them as she shows the camera her perfect white teeth.

Then, all at once, a loud scream erupted and the paps were endlessly clicking their camera at the person who walked the red carpet, shifting their attention towards the one and only person. All of them went crazy because of him.

In her mind, Natasha knows clearly who that person is. The only one who would cause such a scene would only be none other than Steve.

Steve walked the red carpet with no care. He rolls his eyes at the reporters who were screaming for his attention.

"Didn't they ever get bored of our little Stevie?" Tony whispers in his ear earning a glare from Steve.

"Come to think of it, Stark. I think it was a mistake for ever agreeing to walk the red carpet with you." Steve hissed, causing Tony to laugh.

Tony smiles at the cameras and wink at some of the fans who were screaming out their lungs.

Steve rolls his eyes at his friend. Then he spotted the red haired woman from the distance. When he looks at her, he felt a slight pang on his chest and he felt very uncomfortable at the very unfamiliar feeling.

But, like always, he ignored it and instead he decided to put his focus on another woman, which he knows as Lily Collins.

She looked alright to him, but not as pretty and sexy as Natasha but she would be a good distractration from Natasha and her magnetic field.

A reporter from E! News approached them. "Hi everyone. Now I am standing with none other than Steve Rogers and Tony Stark." She cheered, looking at both of the two handsome bachelors in suits.

"So....Steve, we have been hearing that you and your previous costar, Pepper Potts have been hanging out every now and then. Any comments?" She asked, holding the mike towards Steve.

Tony bites his lower lips, trying to stop the smile creeping on his face because he knows too well that it was not Steve who had a thing with Pepper.

It was in fact Tony who was dating Pepper. Was. Tony and Pepper had been dating for, like, three months. Of course, it was Steve who introduced Tony to Pepper. Steve and Pepper are casted in a movie together and once Steve get to know Pepper well, he thought that she would be the perfect woman for his best bud and he set them on a date.

They had keep their relationship low-key and they went out for months but they broke up last month and Tony had, again, returned to his badboy ways.

And Steve tried to bring them back together. That was why he was spotted with Pepper the day before. He apologised to her for Tony and begged her to take his best bud back.

Of course, Tony didn't know that either. He only heard it from the news about Steve and Pepper going out and stuff.

Steve pursed his lips, thinking about the best answer to the question. He wants to tell the reporter that he was not dating her, but he could not risk his best friend's fragile relationship to go public.

"Um....uh....it's not...uh...how would I put this?" He tried to explain, while scratching his neck which was not at all itchy.

The reporter raised her eyebrows in a teasing manner, as she thinks that he is too shy to admit the truth. She pulls the mike towards Tony. "Wanna help your friend out, Tony?" She asks the culprit.
