Steve~

Taking a sip of his coffee, he go through the script of 'Forever my Girl', which he would be filming it soon.

Although he didn't want to admit it, he is quite interested in the script that he almost forget about not wanting to act in the movie.

Then, his manager Maria Hill walked in, carrying a folder in her hands.

Annoyed by the fact that she came here in the morning only to discuss about work, Steve huffed. "What again, Hill?"

Rolling her eyes, Maria chose to ignore his question and puts her feet on the couch carelessly making Steve growl.

"You know, not only your hormones need control, but your temper too." She stated, throwing the folder which contains Steve and Lilly Collins dancing in a place which looks like a club.

Steve sighs, shaking his head in disbelief. "Where do you get these?" He asks, with a frown.

Looking indifferent, Maria takes the coffee from his hands. "You know, Steve." She stops as she takes a sip of the coffee.

"Every eyes are on you. Not only because you are the famous actor Steve Rogers, but also because you are an heir to the Rogers Corporation." She stated slowly.

Looking at him right in the eyes, Maria sighs. "You know what? I give up. I thought that you are behaving this way only because you were hurting. But, everything has its limits. You should know that by now."

Steve was caught offguard hearing Maria, one of the very few people he trusts, saying that she gave up on him. He thought that she accepted him the way he is. He feels betrayed.

However, he didn't want to show any sign of weakness. "You know that is only a one time thing, Hill. No need to dramatize it further." Steve replies, still not wanting to show that he wants her to hold on, and not to just give up.

Maria scoffs. "A one time thing? How many 'one time thing' are you planning to have? Just snap out of it."

Rolling his eyes, Steve shrugs. "Nothing happen, Hill. I was not at the mood anyways, so...... you know."

Maria sighs heavily, finally giving in again. "Fine. But please, I beg you, Steve. Stop acting like this. You are better than this." She told him, and he finally nods absentmindedly, not wanting to cause any more argument.

Seeing the script in his hands, Maria raised her eyebrows in amusement. She thought that he was not interested. And yet, here he is.

"Filming will start next week. You should get ready." She tells him, referring to the movie that he would soon be filming with Natasha.

Acting indifferent, Steve gives her a slight nod.

"I still wonder why Natasha agrees to film a movie with you." Hill mumbles, mostly to herself but Steve being Steve, he heard her.

"Probably because I'm irresistible, you idiot." He scoffs.

Maria can't help but laugh at Steve's words, not believing her ears. "Right." She says, but from her tone, Steve can tell that she is not buying it.

Then, he furrows his eyebrows as a thought suddenly hit him hard. Maria was right. How can Natasha, of all people, agrees on filming a movie with him? Especially, after what he had done to her.

Feeling the sudden change in Steve, Maria stops laughing. "Why become so serious, Rogers?" She asks, all the smile suddenly gone from her face.

Steve was a little bit reluctant to talk about it, but after he gives a little thought, he decided to ask Maria about his doubts.
