Chapter - 1

Steve~

"I will never act on that low budget movie. What did he take me for? I am one of the highest paid actor in Hollywood and he dare told you to give me the script?" Steve growled, leaning against the seat of his van, not even bothering to look at the script.

His new assistant, Peter Parker begins to shiver in fear as he didn't know what to do or say.

"I-I'm sorry, sir. I am just d-doing what I w-was told to do. I am so s-sorry." He stutters, trying to calm the angry spoilt brat.

'Man, what have I gotten myself into?' Peter thought in regret for ever applying for this job.

But he needs it and he cannot quit just because he didn't feel like it. He needs the money and this job is just for him since the pay is good. Too good, to be exact.

He wonders how many people had quit before him considering Steve's attitude. He knows that many had quit this job because of Steve's arrogant behaviour.

"Call her and put her on speaker. Now!" Steve yelled at him, making Peter jump in fear.

Peter did as he was told and began to dial Maria, Steve's manager's number.

"Hello? You are the new assistant, right?" Came a female voice before he even greet her.

"Uh, yes. But I have something to...." Before Peter could even complete his sentence, the voice interrupted by saying,"Have you quit already? I thought that you would last at least a day."

Steve snatched the phone from his hold. "Listen, Hill. I am not kidding when I said that I will not act on that movie. Never." He shouted, giving Peter a mini heart attack.

Maria Hill sighs from the other line and say,"Listen, Steve. The order comes from management. Mr.Fury was very stern when he gives me the order."

Steve clenches his jaw, not pleased with Nick Fury."Then I want out from his so called management. There are so many other companies who are dying to sign me." He arrogantly replies.

Maria chuckles from the other side while Peter looks confused as hell. "It's not that easy, Steve. Your father was very unpleased because of your 'bad boy' reputation and he demands to Fury that if he did not fix your image before the media, he would make sure to destroy him and his company. So, Fury has no other choice either." She reasons.

Steve knew very well of his father and his capabilities. When he said that he would do it, he always keeps his promise. He learnt it the hard way.

Joseph Rogers is one of the richest man in the world. But he is a very cruel and ruthless man who gets whatever he wants and destroys whatever stands in his way. He spares none and Steve knows clearly of it.

"That son of a bitch." Steve muttered, making Maria chuckle on the other line.

"Well, that makes you the bitch's grandson." She comments from the other line making Steve more furious than he already is.

"Damn you, Hill. I will pray that your boyfriend would dump you soon." He cursed her, making her laugh at the other line.

He was beyond angry at Maria for tricking him and sending him to meet his future stupid co-stars for what he referred to as 'the low budget movie' which he thinks do not at all afford him.

He throws Peter's phone out of the running vehicle after he cuts the call which makes Peter panic since he didn't have any money to buy a new one.

Steve seems to read his mind as he speaks up."Buy another one. I don't care how much it cost, just get a new one today." He tells him arrogantly, giving him his credit card.
