Natasha~

"Really? Your father is such a meanie." Natasha laughs along with Cassie.

"Auntie Nat, he didn't even sing to me last night." Cassie pouts, accusing her father.

Amused at the sight, Scott can't help but shake his head.

"You were not a good girl. I told you to brush your teeth before you go to bed, but you didn't." He reasons, pinching Cassie's little nose.

"But, dad....." Cassie pouts, giving her father her cutest puppy dog eyes.

Looking at the father and daughter interacting, Natasha can't help but wonder what Steve would be like if their baby ever survived.

Would he laugh along with her and play with her like Scott does?

Then, a memory of that dreadful night hits her. The night when she lost her baby. The accident that she had which cost the life of her baby.

"Natasha? Are you in there?" Scott's concern voice make her snap out of her thoughts.

Faking a smile, she gives him a nod.

"Hey, Josie." Steve(Liam) smiles at an angry looking Natasha(Josie).

This was another scene when Liam goes back to his old town after eight years and sees his ex-fiance whom he had dumped on their wedding day.

Walking towards Steve, Natasha punched him into his stomach with all her might which makes Steve groan.

"Cut!" The director shouted. "Well done, guys. Let's take a break for a minute."

Putting his hands on his aching stomach, Steve sits on the ground while the others start to leave the scene to grab some drinks.

Feeling a little bad for hitting him, Natasha can't help but offer a hand to him.

"Was I too rough? Are you hurt?" She softly asks him.

Rolling his eyes, Steve grabbed hold of her small trembling hands and pulled her down along with him.

"Ouch!" She was met with Steve's deep blue eyes as she falls on top of him, losing her balance.

Steve, on the other hand, didn't seem to be a bit bothered by their awkward position. He, instead, grabbed hold of her small waist and watched Natasha squirming with amusement.

She tried to get out of his hold, but he keeps on tightening his hold on her waist.

"Uh, Steve? There are people here." She whispers in his ears ever so softly, only amusing him more.

"So what?" He raised his eyebrows, acting like he didn't care at all.

Natasha feared that Steve might hear her heart thumping from her chest. 'How could he not if she herself could hear it?' She asked herself.

"S-Steve.....I-I am not feeling very comfortable like this." She stammered, trying to get off of him.

Pursing his lips, Steve lazily rolls his eyes at her.

"Like what?" He asked, pulling her body close to his and Natasha shivers, feeling Steve's hard chest against hers.

Swallowing hard, she bites her lips and closed her eyes. All the old memories of Steve and her came back to her.

She could feel his burning gaze but she could not bring herself to look into those ocean blue eyes. She feared that she would drown into them again.

"I-I.........Steve, we can't.....we can't do this." She replies, with her trembling voice.

Then, it hit him. Yes, this is wrong. So wrong. He should not get very close to Natasha. Not only for him, but also for her sake.

But he couldn't help it. She was like a drug to him. He is addicted to her and he just couldn't help it.

Then he finally let her go. "Sorry." He muttered, feeling bad for crossing the line again.

Untangling herself from him, she starts to get up. But, she couldn't help but feel a little sad for stopping him.

"It's okay. Just.....don't do it again." She tells him with her soft delicate voice.

"Do you know what today is, Natasha?" Steve speaks up, still sitting on the ground, looking very deep in his thought.

A shiver ran down her spine, knowing what he was indeed talking about.

"I'm sorry, Steve. I know that you will miss them." She gives him a forced smile.

Sighing deeply, Steve looks at her forest green eyes.

"Stay with me?" He asks with a small voice, patting the ground next to him for her to sit.

Natasha knows that she is playing with fire. Her heart is in danger. She knows it all too well that this is going to lead to something bad. Sure, this is Steve Rogers we are talking about. Nothing good comes out with him. He is trouble.

This is the same man who broke her heart into a thousand pieces. Who left her alone to face all the problems.

But she couldn't just help it.

He is still the same person that she used to love unconditionally. The same broken boy who craved his father's love and attention. The same boy whom others didn't understand. Only whom she understands.

Heaving a sigh, Natasha shakes her head since she knows that she is going to regret her decison.

Then, she takes a seat beside him but she make sure to keep a certain distance between them.

"I just......I miss them so much, Natasha." Steve speaks up with his trembling voice.

Biting her lips, Natasha could not believe herself for doing what she is going to do. She puts her hands above his and entwine it with hers.

"I know, Steve. I know." She softly replies, rubbing his hands slowly to calm him down. She knew this. She knew that Steve loves it when she holds him like this.

Putting his head on her shoulder, Steve closed his eyes slowly and starts to relax.

Today was the day when Steve lost his mother and brother. He blamed himself for their death since he was not there for them.

Without uttering any other word, both of them sit quietly in the scene.

"I'll ask you only this time and you be honest with me, Natasha. Why do you take this role?" Steve asks, breaking the comfortable silence.

Natasha stiffened on hearing that. Why? Why did she take the role even if she knew that she is going to be paired with Steve?

It is a question that even she finds herself hard to answer. But when she heard him asking her the same question, she, then, knew the answer to it.

"I just.....I want to see you again."
