When I woke up, Tohru wasn't in bed with me. I had a killer headache. I drowsily got off the bed and walked through the door. I saw Tohru making breakfast, a wide smile across her face. "You seem happy." I said groggily. "Yeah. You're just, really cute when your drunk." "Oh, I shouldn't say that." She whispered to herself. She giggled a bit. "I mean... nothing. It's nothing." I glanced at Kanna's room. "Hold on one second." I said, holding up my finger as I threw up into the trash can. I slowly looked up. "Sorry you had to see that." I remarked. "It's fine." She said. "You know Tohru, you don't have to wear your maids uniform if you don't want to. I'm not going to be angry if you don't wear it." I told her. "Speaking of clothes," She replied. "I told you I'd make you a new Spider-Man suit, because your old one got torn to shreds." She pulled a soft red and blue costume off of the counter and placed it into my hands. "Wow." I said. "You really out did yourself this time." The suit looked as crisp as ever. "Thank you." I told her. I embraced her in a soft hug for a few seconds. "Now go fight some bad guys." She said with a certain spunk that inspired me. "Anyway, where's Kanna?" I asked. "She's still sleeping." Tohru replied. I looked over at the door to Kanna's room. I looked back at Tohru. "Tell her." I paused as I said this. "That Spider-Man is officially back in business baby." I frantically went into my room, changed into my suit, and ran back out. "So, how do I look?" I asked Tohru. "You look like the best damned superhero I've ever seen." Tohru said as she pulled me in for a kiss. After we were finished, I walked out onto the balcony. The crisp autumn air smelled good through my newly made mask. I turned to face Tohru. "Bye." I said. I jumped from the balcony and began to web swing through the skies of Tokyo. "I'll be sure to be back by dinner!" I yelled back. I could see Tohru smiling in the distance. Then as I turned my head I hit face first into a very tall building. I started to fall. I couldn't feel anything besides the wind flowing through me. Seconds before I hit the ground I finally came to my senses and webbed a nearby building, swinging through the cars lined up on the street, eerily close to the ground. I went around the city for a while, helping with things like a bike thief or a mugger and different things like that. After I helped someone from getting their purse snatched, I perched myself upon a building to think for a bit. The sky was steadily growing darker. "I have to go home soon. Tohru is making dinner." I thought to myself. I looked down at the building across the street. A group of masked men were inside , robbing the atms. "Well, I guess I have time for one more." I said out loud. I jumped from the building I was perched on to the side of the bank. I slowly crawled down and slipped through the banks doors unnoticed. I hung from the ceiling, watching the men use some kind of weird, alien looking gun to cut a whole open in the atm. "Ahem." I loudly cleared my throat. Three men with avengers masks turned around. "Hey! You're not the avengers!" I said. The one in front cocked a shotgun and pointed it at me. "I guess you guys don't like jokes." I said as I narrowly dodged a blast of shotgun pellets. I shot a web at the shotgun barrel and threw it into the corner. "Let's dance boys." I said. We traded blows as I dodged and weaved through the man's punches. I jumped onto his shoulders and spun him around, only to then bring his head down onto the floor, knocking him out. "Oh, you guys want some too?" I asked. As I went for a punch, one of the men pulled out the big futuristic looking gun and blasted me with it. I was sent flying back into the bank's wall. My bones ached. "Ugh." I said. "You guys will never learn." I webbed up the barrel of the gun. The man wielding it tried to fire it, but the webs only clogged up the gun, causing a charge to be built up. He dropped the gun. "Oh shi.." I muttered as a large explosion ensued. I was blown out of the bank. My body hurtled through the glass windows and onto the street below. I laid there for a second. I was hurting. Glass shards from the window pierced my back. "Ugh.." I tried to say something. I slowly lifted myself from the ground and grunted. "Stand down Spider-Man. You are under arrest." A figure behind me yelled. I tried to webswing to a nearby building when a policeman shot me in the leg. My sore body fell to the ground again. I had to get home. I again webbed a building close by and swung away. Another police officer shot at me, but missed. My leg was killing me. Pain shot up it like a rocket, coursing through my veins. I had to concentrate on getting home. I finally reached my apartment. I tried to land on the balcony, but my legs gave out on me and I fell to the ground. Tohru heard the crash and ran to me, sliding the doors open and lifting my head. "Yuuto! What happened to you?" She asked frantically. "Oh it was nothing, just a little run in with an alien weapon, y'know, kinda blew me up a little." I said. "Also I got shot in the leg by a policeman." "Oh Yuuto." She said. "When you were late to dinner I knew something was wrong." Tohru sat with me for a bit. I turned my head over and looked through the door into our apartment. I could see Kanna, eating whatever Tohru had decided to prepare tonight. She looked like she had recovered from her hangover just fine. I stared at her for a minute, my body aching so bad I didn't want to turn my head again. She noticed me staring at her. She looked at what happened to me and started to tear up. She looked away and ran into her room. "I can't believe I'm causing so much pain to them." I thought to myself. "If I wasn't alive, then they would be back in the other world. Happy." My thoughts were depressing as ever during that moment. Tohru picked me up in her arms, bridal style, and brought me in. She sat me on the couch. I could barely lift my head to look at her. She yanked off my mask. "Now let's clean you up." She said with a smile.
