I swung through the city until I noticed a building that lit up the night sky with flames. I quickly swung towards it. I fell to the ground and landed in front of the building with a loud thud. I stood to my feet. I saw a lady standing in front of me. She had blonde hair, with bluish-green tips on the end. But the one thing that surprised me was that she had horns. I could've swore I knew her, but I couldn't quite remember. "What seems to be the problem?" I asked her. "Well before I answer your question, answer mine." She said. "Who are you?" I was a bit confused by this, but then I remembered that I didn't have my normal spider man suit on. "Oh, yeah. I'm Spider-Man." The look on her face showed that she realized who I was. "Well you got a bit of a downgrade in the suit department." She sarcastically remarked. "Never mind that! Can you just tell me whats going on here?" I replied. "Oh, sorry." She said. She pointed up at one of the building's windows. "My friend is trapped in there!" Her face looked frantic. She even trembled a bit. I looked up at the window, eager to go help. Just before I was going to go, the lady put her hand on my shoulder and looked me in the eyes. "His name is Shouta." She told me. "Thanks." I replied. I turned back around and looked at the window. I turned and looked at a nearby light pole. I climbed atop it. Then I looked back towards the window, and shot two webs at the top of it. I jumped of the light pole and swung through the window into the burning flames. The heat made me want to close my eyes, but I knew I couldn't. Burning planks of wood and ash fell from the ceiling. I narrowly dodged a burning piece of wood falling over me. "Good thing for spider senses." I mumbled to myself. Then I heard a man calling for help. "Hey! Hey! Calm down, I'm here to get you out of here." I told him. "Who are you?" He asked frantically. "Hey Shouta. I'm Spider-Man." I said. "How do you know my name?" He sounded confused. "Never mind that, I'm trying to help you get out of here!" I yelled back. Suddenly a flaming plank of wood fell from the ceiling and hit me in the head, and then rolled down onto my back. As it burned my skin, I quickly grabbed it and threw it off of me. The fingertips of my gloves were singed off. "Fuck." I said quietly. I had a small burn on my back. I focused myself on the situation at hand. "Where are you Shouta?" I called out. "I'm in this room!" I heard his cries coming from behind a door that was to my left. As I walked up to the door, the floor under me collapsed. Before I fell all the way, I grabbed the small ledge that was left from the wood breaking. I slowly pulled myself up. I leaned on the door, but it was apparently not attached to the hinges, because it fell down when I did that. I stood to my feet. Before me, I saw a older man, maybe 70, with purplish gray hair. He looked terrified. "Hey hey hey, it's just me, your friendly neighborhood Spider-Man."  I said. "No need to be afraid." He looked a little less scared. He still stared at me. "I'm here to get you out of here." I motioned for him to come to me. He slowly walked toward me, afraid of what could happen. He stood only a foot away from me. "Okay, I know you aren't going to like this, but wrap your arms around my neck. I'll hold on to you as well." I told him. At first he was hesitant, but he soon gathered the courage to trust me and held on. "Okay, now get ready to hold on!" I said. I started to run. I leaped over the gap in the floor under me. As I turned the corner to face the window, the room that we were previously in behind me collapsed. I began to run faster. As I ran towards the window, Shouta screamed a little. I jumped through the window, and using my other hand which wasn't holding Shouta, I shot a web onto the light pole so I could slow our descent. I landed on the ground. My legs felt numb. I let go of Shouta and let him walk over to the lady I had talked to earlier. They hugged for a while. I just stood there and watched. The lady turned to look at me. She walked towards me. We locked eyes. "Thank you, Spider-Man." She said. Her voice was soothing and sweet. "Uhh, it's no problem Miss." I said. "It's what I do." She pulled me into her embrace and we hugged for a short while. She finally released me from her grip. I turned, about to start running home. She called out to me. "Wait!" I turned, to her, and we locked eyes for the last time. "I never got to tell you my name." She said. "My name is Lucoa." I felt like I had heard that name before, but I couldn't remember where. "Well, thanks." I said. I didn't get what she was trying to tell me there. I was never going to see her again. What was the point of me knowing her name? I cleared my mind and tried to think about something else as I web swung home. The wind whipping against my face was cold, and it stung my burns. I cringed in pain as I flew through the air. I finally arrived home. I landed onto the balcony of the apartment as usual, and opened the sliding door and walked inside. I closed the door behind me. On the couch, Tohru and Elma were chatting away. I smiled, glad to see they were getting along, even though they were from different factions. I yanked off my mask and gloves, and  threw them to the ground. I took my shoes off. Tohru looked up at me. "Oh, Yuuto, you got yourself even more badly burnt?" She asked. My back stung. "It was worth it to save a life." I replied. "Let me see your back." She said. I took off my shirt. Tohru gasped a bit. "Oh my God, Yuuto. You're so horribly burnt!" She exclaimed. She lightly touched the area that was burnt. It stung a little, but didn't hurt that much. "We need to get this cleaned up." Tohru told me. "Look, I'm fine. You don't need to worry about me." I replied. "No you're not! I need to help you!" She raised her voice. I grunted. "Ok. Sure. Have at it." I said sarcastically. She grabbed my hand and pulled me into our room. She sat me down on the bed. We locked eyes. "Yuuto. You know I love you, but you have to stop trying to just walk off all of your injuries. You're going to get seriously hurt one day, and then your body isn't going to be able to heal fast enough." I guess I was just stuck up in trying to be so tough and just not do anything about my injuries. I sighed. Tohru went to the medicine cabinet in the bathroom and got some bandages and antibiotic ointment. "I'm going to put some ointment on your burns and then wrap them up with bandages." She said. She rubbed the ointment onto her hand and began to spread it onto my burns. It stung. She then placed the bandages onto my burns and wrapped them around my chest. "Thanks.. I guess." I looked at Tohru. "You know I just don't want you to be hurting." She said. I smiled at her as I got up from the bed and walked out of the room. I walked toward the couch. I started to feel, very tired and hurt. When I tried to sit down, I collapsed on the couch.
