Y/n's pov.

I woke up in Gene's bed, i sit up and see Gene sleeping peacefully and snoring lightly, i chuckled.

Remembering about yesterday was really confusing. Why would Max said that?, Jay and Chloe looks like they don't care when mom slap me. What is going on?, did i do something wrong?

I then remembered how i came home last night.

~ Flashback ~

I came home with my eyes bloodshot, i was sniffing and my eyes are puffy. Luckily Maria gave me a spare key. I unlock the door and enter.

I see Gene and the others in the kitchen eating dinner. I turn away so they don't see my eyes.

" are you okay Y/n? " Sasha asked.

" just peachy " i said and went upstairs.

I slam the door shut and grab my phone. I scroll down my contact and see Max's phone number. I deleted the contact and slam it down the desk as i palm my eyes, and burst out crying again.

" what happened this time? " Zenix asked.

" he. . . " no more words came out.

" you really have to stop going there " Sasha said.

" i just wanted to get my stuff " i cried.

Gene hug me and i hug back. I fall down to my knees and Gene caught me.

" what did he do? " Gene asked.

" i just wanted to get my old camera and money but they ditch me out the house, Max destroyed the camera and mom or M/n burnt the money " i cried.

" it's okay, we'll buy you a new one " Gene said.

" i don't want a new one, that camera has lots of memories in it " i said.

" that's enough for today " Maria entered.

" you can rest if you want, we'll be downstairs if you need anything " Zenix said, i nodded and they left.

~ Time Skip ~

I fell asleep on the corner of the room where i charge my laptop, i woke up a few minutes ago and now I'm trying to go back to sleep.

I saw the door open lightly and Gene entered. I pretend to sleep and i felt him carry me bridal style and place me on his bed.

I felt his hand moved my bangs away from my face and kiss my forehead. I felt him lie beside me and hug me as i cuddle into his chest.

" no ones gonna hurt you again " he whispered and hug me tighter.

I shake my head to get it off my mind. Trying not to get any anxiety in me, or else Gene would be worried again.

Anyways, what should i do today, drawing?, boring, watch anime?, finished all seasons, i have no work, cause i quit, make breakfast for them?, sure i guess.

I got up and stretch my arms, but i felt an arm wrapped around my waist and pull me back down the bed.

" where do you think your going? " Gene asked and dug his face in the back of my neck.

" i wanna make breakfast " i said.

" but i already ate " he said.

I had a confuse face on, when?
